Umbrella holder

Abstract

An umbrella holder comprises of a housing having a closed end and an open end and wherein the holder is of sufficient length to house the body of a closed umbrella, and a platform that is attached to the housing at least one inch from the closed end of the holder, wherein the platform has at least one drain hole defined within. The umbrella holder ideally would be made of a rigid plastic material or any other material that would withstand oxidation and that would also be able to support the weight of the umbrella. The umbrella holder can also have a carrying handle attached to the outside of the housing to carry the umbrella holder.

1 . An umbrella holder comprising: 
 a housing having an open and a closed end, wherein the housing is of sufficient length to house a closed umbrella; and    a platform attached to the housing at least one inch from the closed end of the housing, wherein the platform defines at least one drain hole within.    
   
   
       2 . The umbrella holder of  claim 1 , further comprising a handle that is attached to the outside of the housing.  
   
   
       3 . The umbrella holder of  claim 2 , wherein the housing is made of a rigid material that is non-oxidizing.  
   
   
       4 . The umbrella holder of  claim 3 , wherein the platform has a plurality of drain holes defined within.  
   
   
       5 . The umbrella holder of  claim 4 , wherein the length of the housing is at least ten inches and the diameter of the housing is at least one inch.  
   
   
       6 . The umbrella holder of  claim 5 , wherein the housing is barrel shaped.  
   
   
       7 . The umbrella holder of  claim 1 , wherein the housing is made of a rigid material that is non-oxidizing.  
   
   
       8 . The umbrella holder of  claim 7 , wherein the platform has a plurality of drain holes defined within.  
   
   
       9 . The umbrella holder of  claim 8 , wherein the length of the housing is at least ten inches and the diameter of the housing is at least one inch.  
   
   
       10 . The umbrella holder of  claim 9 , wherein the housing is barrel shaped.  
   
   
       11 . The umbrella holder of  claim 1 , wherein the length of the housing is at least ten inches and the diameter of the housing is at least one inch.  
   
   
       12 . The umbrella holder of  claim 11 , wherein the housing is barrel shaped.  
   
   
       13 . The umbrella holder of  claim 1 , wherein the housing is barrel shaped.  
   
   
       14 . The umbrella holder of  claim 13 , wherein the housing is made of a rigid material that is non-oxidizing.  
   
   
       15 . The umbrella holder of  claim 14 , wherein the length of the housing is at least ten inches and the diameter of the housing is at least one inch.
