Device for carrying objects

Abstract

A carrying device may include for example two main loops or straps connected at for example four connection points, to hold objects, for example rectangular objects. Other numbers of straps or loops may be used, and other connection points may be used. A first loop may form both a holder for the object and a set of handles or shoulder straps for a user, and a second loop or strap may stabilize or hold the object in the holder, for example preventing significant horizontal movement.

1 . A carrying device, comprising: 
 a loop of flexible material; and    a strip of flexible material attached at at least four connection points to the loop of flexible material, such that the loop of flexible material is divided into a first and a second half loop on a first side of the strip and a third and a fourth half loop on a second side of the strip, at least one connection point being not at an end of the strip,    wherein the strip of flexible material is elastic and the loop of flexible material is not elastic.    
   
   
       2 . The device of  claim 1 , the strip including at least a connection device to connect the two ends of the strip.

       4 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein the connection device includes at least a set of hook and loop strips.

       6 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein the connection device includes at least a set of snaps.  
   
   
       7 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the loop when folded provides two handles.  
   
   
       8 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the loop is to fold back on itself to hold an object.  
   
   
       9 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein a first end of the first half loop meets an end of the third half loop, and a second end of the first half loop meets an end of the fourth half loop.  
   
   
       10 . A carrying device, comprising a flexible loop connected at at least four points to a strip, the strip having two ends, wherein at least one connection point is located away from both ends of the strip and wherein the strip of flexible material is elastic, and the loop of flexible material is not elastic.

       12 . The device of  claim 10 , at least one end of the strip including a connection device.  
   
   
       13 . The device of  claim 12 , wherein the connection device includes a set of hook and loop pads.  
   
   
       14 . The device of  claim 10 , wherein the loop when elongated and folded provides a handle.  
   
   
       15 . The device of  claim 10 , wherein, when the loop is elongated, the connection points are each located less than three fifths of the distance from one end of the elongated loop.  
   
   
       16 . The device of  claim 10 , wherein the connection points and the strip prevent the loop from taking the shape of a circle.  
   
   
       17 . The device of  claim 10 , wherein the loop is a first loop to fold back on itself and each end of the strip is to connect to create a second loop, the first and second loops to hold an object.  
   
   
       18 . A carrying device for carrying an object, the device comprising: 
 a strap means for holding the object and for preventing horizontal movement of the object; and    a loop means for holding the bottom of the object and for providing a carrying handle, the loop means connected to the strap means at four points,    wherein the strap means is elastic, and the loop means is not elastic.

The carrying device of  claim 18 , wherein the loop means is divided into a first and a second half loop on a first side of the strap means and into a third and a fourth half loop on a second side of the strap means, wherein a first end of the first half loop meets an end of the third half loop, and a second end of the first half loop meets an end of the fourth half loop.  
   
   
       20 . The device of  claim 18 , wherein the loop means is to fold back on itself to hold an object at two points at the bottom of the object.
