Linking mechanism for exerciser
Abstract
A linking mechanism for use in an exerciser is constructed to include a base; a driving member pivotally mounted on the base and rotatable in one direction by an external force, a return member mounted on the base and connected to the driving member for accumulating a return force upon rotation of the driving member in one direction by an external force and for reversing the driving member upon releasing of the accumulated return force, and an one-way actuator coupled to the driving member and connectable to an external roller for transmitting rotary driving force from the driving member to an external device upon rotation of the driving member in one direction by an external force.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A linking mechanism comprising:
a base; a driving member pivotally mounted on said base and rotatable in one direction by an external force, said driving member comprising a coupling portion; a return member mounted on said base and connected to said driving member, and adapted to accumulate a return force upon rotation of said driving member in one direction by an external force and to reverse said driving member upon releasing of the accumulated return force; and An one-way actuator coupled to said coupling portion of said driving member and connectable to an external roller and adapted to transmit rotary driving force from said driving member to an external device upon rotation of said driving member in one direction by an external force.
2 . The linking mechanism as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said one-way actuator is an one-way bearing connected to said coupling portion of said driving member.
3 . The linking mechanism as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said driving member is comprised of a wheel and a cover.
4 . The linking mechanism as claimed in claim 3 , wherein said cover is affixed to said wheel, having a part forming said coupling portion.
5 . The linking mechanism as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said return member is a spiral spring, which has one end hooked on said wheel.
6 . The linking mechanism as claimed in claim 5 , wherein said base comprises a support adapted to support said driving member.
7 . The linking mechanism as claimed in claim 6 , wherein said wheel of said driving member is rotatably mounted on said support; said spiral spring has a first end hooked on said wheel and a second end hooked on said support.
8 . The linking mechanism as claimed in claim 7 , wherein said coupling portion of said cover of said driving member is mounted with an axle bearing.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
