Abstract

The clothing of the present invention is held together at a single point of closure, at a single main point of closure, or at several points of closure by a locking device or devices in such a way that unlocking the locking device(s) renders the garment removable from the wearer's body.

       17 . An article of clothing comprising: 
 a upper-body garment configured to cover at least a portion of an upper body of a wearer; a lower-body garment configured to cover at least a portion of a lower body of the wearer; and a lock for connecting the upper-body garment with the lower-body garment.    
   
   
       18 . The article of clothing for  claim 17 , wherein the lower-body garment comprises: 
 a connector configured to couple with a connector included in the upper-body garment.    
   
   
       19 . The article of clothing for  claim 18 , wherein the connector comprises at least one of a loop, d-ring, hook and buttonhole.  
   
   
       20 . The article of clothing for  claim 17 , wherein the upper-body garment includes a front portion and wherein the lower-body garment includes a front portion and wherein the lock secures the front portion of the upper-body garment to the front portion of the lower-body garment.  
   
   
       21 . The article of clothing of  claim 17 , further comprising: 
 a second lock for connecting the upper-body garment with the lower-body garment.    
   
   
       22 . The article of clothing of  claim 17 , wherein the lock comprises a key-operated lock.  
   
   
       23 . An article of clothing comprising: 
 a upper-body garment configured to cover at least a portion of an upper body of a wearer;    a lower-body garment configured to cover at least a portion of a lower body of the wearer;    a linking belt configured to connect to the upper-body garment and the lower-body garment to thereby secure the upper-body garment to the lower-body garment.    
   
   
       24 . The article of clothing of  claim 23 , further comprising: 
 a lock securing the linking belt to the upper-body-garment.    
   
   
       25 . The article of clothing of  claim 23 , further comprising: 
 a lock securing the linking belt to the lower-body-garment.    
   
   
       26 . The article of clothing of  claim 24 , wherein the lock comprises a key-operated lock.
