Self-contained baby care kit having a subsequent use

Abstract

A self-contained reusable baby care kit comprising a storage case, said case being suited for an initial use of storing at least one baby care product and a subsequent use of storing a subsequent item; at least one baby care product; and at least one educational insert. In one embodiment, the subsequent use is for sorting baby-related mementos.

1 . A self-contained reusable baby care kit comprising: 
 a. a storage case, said case being suited for an initial use of storing at least one baby care product and a subsequent use of storing a subsequent item;    b. at least one baby care product; and    c. at least one educational insert.    
     
     
         2 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein the subsequent item is a baby-related memento.  
     
     
         3 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein the at least one baby care product is selected from the group consisting of diapers, wipes, and combinations thereof.  
     
     
         4 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein the kit further comprises a lid releasably engaging the storage case.  
     
     
         5 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein the case further comprises a divider capable of separating the interior space into two or more compartments.  
     
     
         6 . The kit of  claim 3  wherein the baby care product is a plurality of diapers enclosed by an overwrap.  
     
     
         7 . The kit of  claim 6  wherein a window is disposed on or within the element selected from the group consisting of the overwrap, the case, and combinations thereof.  
     
     
         8 . The kit of  claim 3  wherein the baby care product is a newborn size diaper.  
     
     
         9 . The kit of  claim 3  wherein the baby care product is a plurality of wipes enclosed by a wrapper or a container comprising a container body and a lid covering the container body.  
     
     
         10 . The kit of  claim 8  wherein said container is reusable by reloading with a second plurality of wipes.  
     
     
         11 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein said educational insert is a subsequent use insert providing instruction on the subsequent use of the storage case.  
     
     
         12 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein said educational insert is an indexing insert for use in categorizing the at least one baby-related memento.  
     
     
         13 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein said educational insert is an additional information insert providing instructions for obtaining additional baby care information.  
     
     
         14 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein said educational insert is a product information insert providing information related to the baby care product.  
     
     
         15 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein said educational insert is a stage of development insert providing information related to a stage of development for a baby.  
     
     
         16 . The kit of  claim 15  wherein said information related to a stage of development is selected from the group consisting of developmental insights, care tips, feeding tips, health tips, interaction tips, practical tips, and combinations thereof.  
     
     
         17 . The kit of  claim 1  wherein the case further comprises a graphic on an exterior surface of the storage case.  
     
     
         18 . The kit of  claim 1  further comprising a carrying handle disposed on an exterior surface of the storage case.  
     
     
         19 . A self-contained reusable baby care kit comprising: 
 a. a storage case, said case being suited for an initial use of storing at least one baby care product and a subsequent use of storing at least one or more baby-related memento;    b. at least one baby care product; and    c. at least one insert for organizing the baby-related memento.    
     
     
         20 . A self-contained reusable baby care kit comprising: 
 a. a storage case having an initial use for storing at least one baby care product and a subsequent use for storing a subsequent item; said case comprising: 
 i) a lid releasably engaging the storage case, and  
 ii) a divider separating the storage case into at least a first compartment and a second compartment;  
   b. a plurality of diapers disposed within the first compartment of the storage case, wherein the plurality of diapers is enclosed in an overwrap;    c. a first plurality of wipes disposed within the second compartment of the storage case, wherein the plurality of diapers is enclosed in a container;    d. at least one educational insert, said insert selected from the group consisting of a secondary use insert providing instruction on the subsequent use of the case for storing a subsequent item; a customizable insert providing a blank area; an additional information insert providing instructions for obtaining additional baby care information; a product information insert proving instruction related to the plurality of diapers and first plurality of wipes; a stage of development insert providing instruction related to a stage of development; and combinations thereof; and    e. a carrying handle disposed on an exterior surface of the storage case.
