Abstract
Various compositions containing transfer factor in combination with nutraceuticals are provided including transfer factor in combination with zinc and essential fatty acids and transfer factor in combination with lactic acid generating bacteria. Also provided are methods for treating animal diseases and syndromes using these compositions.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 118 . (canceled)
119 . A method for reducing morbidity in an animal comprising administering to said animal a formulation comprising an isolated transfer factor and at least one of lactic acid, essentially fatty acid, and vitamin C in an amount, at a frequency and for a duration effective to achieve at least about a 30% reduction in morbidity in a population of said animals treated with said formulation as compared to a control population of said animals not treated with said formulation.
120 . A method of claim 119 wherein said formulation comprises transfer factor and lactic acid.
121 . The method of claim 120 wherein said lactic acid is from a lactic acid producing bacterium in said formulation.
122 . The method of claim 119 wherein said formulation comprises transfer factor and essential fatty acid.
123 . The method of claim 119 wherein said formulation comprises transfer factor and vitamin C.
124 . The method of claim 119 wherein said morbidity is reduced by at least about 30% as compared to a control.
125 . The method of claim 119 wherein said morbidity is reduced by at least about 40% as compared to a control.
126 . The method of claim 119 wherein said morbidity is reduced by at least about 50% as compared to a control.
127 . The method of claim 119 wherein said animal is selected from the group consisting of cow, horse, bird, pig, goat, sheep, dog and cat.
128 . The method of claim 127 wherein said cow is a calf.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
