Band guiding mechanism for packing machine
Abstract
A band guiding mechanism for packing machine includes a pool box composed of two guide plates and one of the two guide plates has a through hole. A fixed frame including a vertical section is fixed on the guide plate with the through hole and a movable member is movably and linearly connected on a horizontal section of the fixed frame. The vertical section has an aperture which is in alignment with the through hole. The movable member has a protrusion which is linearly and movably engaged with the aligned through hole and the aperture. A band slit is defined in an outside of the protrusion so as to receive the band therein. An electromagnetic member is connected to the horizontal section of the fixed frame and drives an eccentric disk which pushes the protrusion of the movable member toward the aligned through hole and the aperture.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A band guiding mechanism for packing machine, comprising:
a pool box composed of two guide plates and a space defined between the two guide plates, a width of the space adapted to be larger than a width of a band, one of the two guide plates including a through hole; a fixed frame fixed on the guide plate with the through hole and including a vertical section and a horizontal section, the vertical section being fixed to the guide plate with the through hole and having an aperture which is in alignment with the through hole; a movable member movably connected on the horizontal section and a protrusion extending from a side of the movable member, the protrusion linearly and movably engaged with the aligned through hole and the aperture, a band slit defined in an outside of the protrusion and adapted to receive the band therein, and an electromagnetic member connected to an underside of the horizontal section of the fixed frame and an output shaft extending through the horizontal section and connected to an eccentric disk which pushes the protrusion of the movable member toward the aligned through hole and the aperture.
2 . The mechanism as claimed in claim 1 , wherein two guide portions are connected to the guide plate with the through hole and located above the through hole.
3 . The mechanism as claimed in claim 2 , wherein each of the guide portions is composed of two parallel plates and a gap between the two parallel plates is adapted to be larger than a thickness of the band.
4 . The mechanism as claimed in claim 1 , wherein two elongate slots are defined in through the movable member and two bolts extend through the two elongate slots and are fixed to the horizontal section of the fixed frame so that the movable member is movable along the two elongate slots.
5 . The mechanism as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a spring is biased between the movable member and the vertical section of the fixed frame.
6 . The mechanism as claimed in claim 5 , wherein a recess is defined in the movable member and located above the protrusion, the spring has one end received in the recess and the other end of the spring is in contact with the vertical section of the fixed frame.
7 . The mechanism as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the eccentric disk is a circular disk.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
