Cosmetic compact

Abstract

A cosmetic compact includes a cover and a base which is pivotably connected to the cover, and a two-sided mirror is pivotably connected between the cover and the base. Each of the cover and the base includes a heart-shaped recess for receiving cosmetic material therein. The cover can be engaged with the base by engaging a positioning plate on the cover with a protrusion on the base. The two-sided mirror includes two ears extending through two notches in a peripheral wall of the base so that the user may pivot the two-sided mirror by lifting the two ears.

1 . A cosmetic compact comprising: 
 a cover pivotably connected to a base and each of the cover and the base including a recess for receiving cosmetic material therein, the cover including a positioning plate extending from a periphery thereof and the base including a peripheral wall which encloses the recess, a protrusion extending from an outside of the peripheral wall so as to engage with the positioning plate to position the cover onto the base, and    a two-sided mirror pivotably connected between the cover and the base.    
   
   
       2 . The cosmetic compact as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the peripheral wall includes two notches and the two-sided mirror includes two ears which are sized to be engaged with the notches.  
   
   
       3 . The cosmetic compact as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein a flange extends from the base and located beneath the protrusion.
