Process for producing an article with a scene imprinted thereon

Abstract

A process for producing at least one preselected article having at least one preselected scene imprinted thereon. The process comprises the steps of selecting at least one of a photograph and a painting having a desired scene disposed horizontally thereon then turning the photograph or painting substantially 90 degrees. Another step is determining if the resulting vertically disposed image is at least one of attractive and interesting enough to use on the at least one preselected article. Another step is placing an image, having the photograph or painting that was rotated in a previous step and determined to be at least one of attractive and interesting, on a preselected material to be used to produce the at least one preselected article and using the preselected material having the image placed thereon to produce such at least one preselected article.

1 . A process for producing at least one preselected article having at least one preselected scene imprinted thereon, said process comprises the steps of: 
 (a) selecting at least one of a photograph and a painting having a desired scene disposed horizontally thereon;    (b) turning said at least one of a photograph and a painting 90 degrees;    (c) determining if the resulting vertically disposed image after step (b) is at least one of attractive and interesting enough to use on said at least one preselected article;    (d) placing an image having said at least one of said photograph and said painting rotated in step (b) and determined to be at least one of attractive and interesting in step (c) on a preselected material to be used to produce said at least one preselected article; and    (e) using said preselected material having said image placed thereon in step (d) to produce said at least one preselected article.    
   
   
       2 . The process, according to  claim 1 , wherein said process further includes prior to step (d) the step of creating a desired effect said at least one of said photograph and said painting will exhibit on said at least one preselected article.  
   
   
       3 . The process, according to  claim 2 , wherein said desired effect is created by cropping said at least one of said photograph and said painting.  
   
   
       4 . The process according to  claim 1 , wherein said process further includes the step of using a color process in step (d) for placing said image on said preselected material.  
   
   
       5 . The process according to  claim 4 , wherein said color process is a four-color process for placing said image on said preselected material.  
   
   
       6 . The process, according to  claim 1 , wherein said preselected material is selected from a group consisting of silk, cotton, cotton-polyester blends, satin, acrylic, Dacron, lycra, cotton-lycra blends, nylon rayon, hemp, muslin, linen, canvas and various combinations thereof.  
   
   
       7 . The process, according to  claim 1 , wherein said preselected article is selected from one of clothing and accessories.  
   
   
       8 . The process, according to  claim 7 , wherein said preselected article is selected from the clothing group consisting of shirts, skirts, dresses, shorts, jackets, sweaters, jerseys, swim wear, vests, rain gear, underclothing and socks.  
   
   
       9 . The process, according to  claim 7 , wherein said preselected article is an accessory selected from the group consisting of neckties, caps, hats, backpacks, purses, belts, tote bags and scarves.  
   
   
       10 . The process, according to  claim 1 , wherein said process further includes the step of selecting said at least one of said photograph and said painting from at least one of scenes of golf courses, sports stadiums, landscapes, seascapes, nature's wonders, city skylines, scenic rivers, bridges, sporting events, national parks, and wildlife.  
   
   
       11 . The process, according to  claim 1 , wherein said process prior to step (a) further includes the step of selecting a scene to be photographed.  
   
   
       12 . The process, according to  claim 1 , wherein said process in step (d) includes placing said image on said preselected material by one of direct image transfer, direct transfer printing, thermal transfer, thermal wax transfer, image screening, multiple screen printing, direct digital inkjet printing on fabrics, dye sublimation, dye diffusion, D2T printing, silk screen and multiple screen printing.  
   
   
       13 . An article of clothing having at least one preselected horizontally disposed scene in a substantially vertically oriented direction imprinted thereon.  
   
   
       14 . An article of clothing, according to  claim 13 , wherein said article of clothing is selected from the group consisting of shirts, skirts, dresses, shorts, jackets, sweaters, jerseys, swim wear, vests, rain gear, underclothing and socks.  
   
   
       15 . An article of clothing, according to  claim 13 , wherein said article of clothing includes a plurality of scenes imprinted thereon.  
   
   
       16 . An article of clothing, according to  claim 13 , wherein said at least one preselected horizontally disposed scene oriented in a substantially vertical direction is selected from the group consisting of scenes of golf courses, sports stadiums, landscapes, seascapes, nature's wonders, city skylines, scenic rivers, bridges, sporting events, national parks, and wildlife.  
   
   
       17 . An accessory having at least one preselected horizontally disposed scene in a substantially vertically oriented direction imprinted thereon.  
   
   
       18 . An accessory, according to  claim 17 , wherein said accessory is selected from the group consisting of neckties, caps, hats, backpacks, purses, belts, tote bags and scarves.  
   
   
       19 . An accessory, according to  claim 17 , wherein said accessory includes a plurality of scenes imprinted thereon.  
   
   
       20 . An accessory, according to  claim 19 , wherein said at least one preselected horizontally disposed scene oriented in a substantially vertical direction is selected from the group consisting of scenes of golf courses, sports stadiums, landscapes, seascapes, nature's wonders, city skylines, scenic rivers, bridges, sporting events, national parks, and wildlife.
