Abstract

A gaseous lamp includes a housing, a lamp shade disposed on the housing, a valve device having a receptacle received in the housing and having a gas passage and an inlet for coupling to a gaseous reservoir. A control member is disposed in the receptacle, and includes a plunger core slidably received in a coil which may force the plunger core to actuate a valve member to selectively block the gas passage of the receptacle. A tube is coupled to the outlet of the receptacle of the valve device, for supplying the gas outwardly through the tube. A control device may be energized by one or more batteries to operate the control member.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A gaseous lamp comprising:
a housing, a lamp shade disposed on said housing, a valve device including a receptacle received in said housing and having a gas passage formed therein, and having an outlet, and an inlet for coupling to a gaseous reservoir to receive a gas therefrom, a control member disposed in said receptacle, and including a coil, a plunger core slidably received in said coil, a valve member attached to said plunger core and moved in concert with said plunger core, said coil being energizable to force said plunger core to move relative to said coil, and to force said valve member to selectively block said gas passage of said receptacle, a tube coupled to said outlet of said receptacle of said valve device, and including a bore formed therein, for supplying said gas outwardly through said tube, said control member being actuatable to selectively block said gas passage of said receptacle, to control the gas to flow out through said bore of said tube, a control device electrically coupled to said control member, at least one battery coupled to said control device, to energize said control device and said control member, a switch coupled to said control device, to actuate said control member to control a flowing of the gas out through said bore of said tube, an electric rod electrically coupled to said control device, for being controlled by said control device to generate sparks, and to ignite the gas flowing out through said bore of said tube, and to generate flames, and a temperature detector electrically coupled to said control device, for being controlled by said control device to detect temperature of the flames generated by the gas flowing out through said bore of said tube.

2 . The gaseous lamp as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said receptacle includes a valve seat provided in said gas passage thereof, and said valve member is actuatable to selectively block said valve seat of said receptacle.

3 . The gaseous lamp as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said tube includes a guide flap attached thereto, to shield and guide the flame generated by the gas flowing out through said bore of said tube.

4 . The gaseous lamp as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said switch includes a button provided thereon for being depressed or actuated by users.

5 . The gaseous lamp as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said valve device includes at least one frame secured to said receptacle, for attaching said receptacle to said housing.

6 . The gaseous lamp as claimed in claim 5 , wherein said at least one frame includes a panel extended therefrom and having at least one orifice formed therein to receive and support said tube.

7 . The gaseous lamp as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said housing includes a post extended downwardly therefrom for supporting said housing at a height above ground.

8 . The gaseous lamp as claimed in claim 7 , wherein said post includes a base plate extended outwardly therefrom, to stably support said post and said housing on the ground.

9 . The gaseous lamp as claimed in claim 7 , wherein said post includes a plurality of openings formed therein.

10 . The gaseous lamp as claimed in claim 7 , wherein said post includes a door pivotally attached thereto with a hinge device.
