Abstract

A diaper changing article comprising a flat circular body preferably having a plurality of fold lines therein, wherein the body is adapted to be folded about the fold lines to open and close the changing article; preferably, a storage area radially arranged about a center of the circular body, wherein at least one pocket in the storage area has an opening proximal to the center of the circular body; and at least one handle coupled to the outer edge, wherein a handle is adapted to carry the body is exposed in the closed position and a second handle is adapted to maintain the body in the closed position. In one embodiment, the article has at least one pocket which has an opening that is proximal to the outer edge of the circular body. The diaper changing article preferably has a polygonal shape, such as a square, when folded closed.

A diaper changing article comprising: a flat body having a substantially circular outer edge and a plurality of fold lines therein, wherein the body is adapted to be folded about the fold lines to selectively open and close the changing article between an open and a closed position.  
     
     
         2 . The diaper changing article of  claim 1  further comprising a plurality of pockets radially arranged about a center of the circular body, wherein at least one of the pockets has an opening proximal to the center of the circular body.  
     
     
         3 . The diaper changing article of  claim 1  further comprising a plurality of pockets radially arranged about a center of the circular body, wherein at least one of the pockets has an opening proximal to the outer edge of the circular body.  
     
     
         4 . The diaper changing article of  claim 1  wherein the body has a polygonal shape when folded into a folded body in the closed position.  
     
     
         5 . The diaper changing article of  claim 4  wherein the polygonal shape is a square.  
     
     
         6 . The diaper changing article of  claim 1  further comprising at least one handle attached to the outer edge of the flat body, wherein a first handle is configured to maintain a folded body in the closed position.  
     
     
         7 . The diaper changing article of  claim 6  wherein a second handle is exposed when the body is in the closed position, the second handle to carry the folded body.  
     
     
         8 . The diaper changing article of  claim 7  wherein the first and second handle are exposed irrespective of an order by which the body is folded from the open position to the closed position.  
     
     
         9 . The diaper changing article of  claim 4  further comprising at least one handle attached to the outer edge of the flat body, wherein one handle is a loop adapted to traverse from first side to an opposite second side of the polygonal shape to maintain the folded body in the closed position.  
     
     
         10 . The diaper changing article of  claim 1  wherein the body is able to be folded into the closed position with one hand of a user.  
     
     
         11 . A diaper changing article comprising: a body is adapted to be foldable between an open and a closed position, the body being substantially flat and having a circular outer edge when in the open position, the body having a polygonal shape when in the closed position.  
     
     
         12 . The diaper changing article of  claim 11  wherein the body includes a plurality of fold lines therein, wherein the body is folded about the fold lines.  
     
     
         13 . The diaper changing article of  claim 11  further comprising a plurality of pockets radially arranged about a center of the circular body, wherein at least one of the pockets has an opening proximal to the center of the circular body.  
     
     
         14 . The diaper changing article of  claim 11  further comprising a plurality of pockets radially arranged about a center of the circular body, wherein at least one of the pockets has an opening proximal to the outer edge of the circular body.  
     
     
         15 . The diaper changing article of  claim 11  wherein the polygonal shape is a square.  
     
     
         16 . The diaper changing article of  claim 11  further comprising at least one handle attached to the outer edge of the flat body, wherein one handle is configured to maintain the body in the closed position.  
     
     
         17 . The diaper changing article of  claim 16  wherein the handle is a loop adapted to traverse from first side to an opposite second side of the polygonal shaped body to maintain the polygonal shaped body in the closed position.  
     
     
         18 . The diaper changing article of  claim 11  further comprising a plurality of handles attached to the outer edge of the flat body, wherein a first handle is adapted to maintain the body in the closed position and a second handle is adapted to carry the body.  
     
     
         19 . The diaper changing article of  claim 18  wherein the first and second handle are exposed irrespective of an order by which the body is folded from the open position to the closed position.  
     
     
         20 . A diaper changing article comprising: 
 a. a flat circular body having a plurality of fold lines therein, wherein the body is adapted to be folded about the fold lines to open and close the changing article; and    b. a storage area radially arranged about a center of the circular body, wherein at least one pocket in the storage area has an opening proximal to the center of the circular body.    
     
     
         21 . The diaper changing article of  claim 20  wherein the circular body has a polygonal shape when folded to a closed position.  
     
     
         22 . The diaper changing article of  claim 21  wherein the polygonal shape is a square.  
     
     
         23 . The diaper changing article of  claim 20  further comprising at least one handle attached to the outer edge of the flat body, wherein a first handle is configured to maintain the folded body in a closed position.  
     
     
         24 . The diaper changing article of  claim 23  wherein a second handle is exposed when the body is in the closed position, the second handle to carry the folded body.  
     
     
         25 . The diaper changing article of  claim 24  wherein the first and second handle are exposed irrespective of an order by which the body is folded from the open position to the closed position.  
     
     
         26 . The diaper changing article of  claim 23  wherein the handle is a loop adapted to traverse from a first side to an opposite second side of the polygonal shape.  
     
     
         27 . The diaper changing article of  claim 20  wherein the body is able to be folded into the closed position with one hand of a user.  
     
     
         28 . A diaper changing article comprising: 
 a. a flat body having a circular outer edge and a plurality of fold lines therein, wherein the body is adapted to be folded about the fold lines to selectively open and close the changing article between an open and closed position; and    b. a plurality of handles coupled to the outer edge, wherein at least one handle adapted to carry the body is exposed in the closed position.    
     
     
         29 . A diaper changing article comprising: 
 a. a flat body having a circular outer edge and a plurality of fold lines therein, wherein the body is adapted to be folded about the fold lines to selectively open and close the changing article between an open and closed position; and    b. a plurality of handles coupled to the outer edge, wherein a first handle is adapted to carry the body is exposed in the closed position and wherein a second handle is adapted to maintain the body in the closed position.    
     
     
         30 . A diaper changing article comprising: 
 a. a flat circular body having a plurality of fold lines therein, wherein the body is adapted to be folded about the fold lines to open and close the changing article;    b. a storage area radially arranged about a center of the circular body, wherein at least one pocket in the storage area has an opening proximal to the center of the circular body; and    c. a plurality of handles coupled to the outer edge, wherein a first handle is adapted to carry the body is exposed in the closed position and wherein a second handle is adapted to maintain the body in the closed position.

A diaper changing article adapted to be foldable for storage, the diaper changing article comprising: a flat body having a substantially circular outer edge and a plurality of fold lines therein, wherein the body is adapted to be folded about the fold lines to selectively open and close the changing article between an open and a closed position, wherein the changing article is flat and adapted to be stored in a small area when in the closed position.
