Disposable flexible container for temporarily storing a paint brush
Abstract
A disposable flexible container for temporarily storing a paint brush for postponing and/or eliminating the burdensome task required, in which, the detailed cleaning of a paint brush demands upon an artist or painter of professional or novice skill. The inventive device includes of a single main component by which this main component, the disposable flexible container, consists of a front face wall and a back face wall placed opposite to one another and seamed at the outer periphery of the container and outer contour of the container's central volume intended to contain a paint brush. The outer periphery of the two layers' margin of film emulates a universally recognized standard paint brush. The structure consists of a wide upper section and a narrow lower section. A mouth exists at the top of the wide upper sections of the disposable flexible container to admit an exerted paint brush and also permits for the accommodation to temporarily store said exerted paint brush. A line of weakest resistance exists on the narrow lower section and extends upwardly until intersecting a second perpendicular line of weakness located on the wide upper section. A closure flap exists at the top of the wide upper section of the back face wall.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A container comprising a pair of flexible cleavable walls of vinyl polymer such as polystyrene, polypropylene, polyester or polyvinyl chloride defining between them a central volume, said walls being secured together along a periphery, a portion of said periphery having an opening therein, whereby an applicator can be embodied in said central volume, a closure flap extending from the container portion beyond said opening, said closure flap configured to be foldable over said opening, and lines of weakness disposed within said periphery, a first said line of weakness having a central portion extending longitudinally intermediate of said periphery and opposite end portions is at a predetermined length, a second line of weakness having a central portion extends in a direction transverse the rectilinear said first central portion and opposite end portions is at a predetermined length, a first said end portion of said first central portion is intersected at its termination of extension towards said central volume by said second central portion.
2 . The container according to claim 1 , wherein said flexible cleavable walls of vinyl polymer are formed of a film of high or low density polyethylene or vinyl compound.
3 . The container according to claim 1 , wherein the clarity of said flexible cleavable walls is transparent, translucent or opaque.
4 . The container according to claim 1 , wherein said line of weakness is in the form of stamped line.
5 . The container according to claim 1 , wherein said container is polygonal and said line of weakness occupies the greater portion of the length of one side of the polygonal container.
6 . A container comprising a pair of flexible cleavable walls of vinyl polymer defining between them a central volume, said walls being joined along a periphery, a portion of said periphery having an opening therein, whereby an applicator can be embodied in said central volume, said opening configured to be secured by a means of a fastening system and lines of weakness disposed within said periphery are at a predetermined length, a first said end portion of said first central portion is intersected at its termination of extension towards said central volume by said second central portion.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
