Abstract

A locking device for a toolbox of the present invention is provided with a plurality of locking members and through which a base portion and a cover of the toolbox are closed and locked together, and then plural master jaws of the cover are engaged with an equal number of arresting pieces of the base portion, by virtue of these two preventives the tools can be stably kept in the recess of the toolbox without dropping out.

1 . A locking device for a toolbox comprising: 
 a base portion having a platform formed in a predetermined shape, on which at least a recess defined, at the outer periphery of the platform where adjacent to the recess formed with a predetermined number of holes, at the outer periphery of the base portion defined with a predetermined number of arresting pieces;    a cover being same size as the base portion, which provided with plural openings with corresponding to the holes of the base portion both in location and size, with corresponding to the outside of the respective arresting pieces of the base portion the cover further provided with equal number of master jaws;    a plurality of locking members, each of which including two protruded ends and a rod portion, both of the protruded ends serving for engaging in the holes of the base portion and the openings of the cover respectively.    
   
   
       2 . The locking device for a toolbox as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein a plate can be provided at a side of the cover where neighboring to the side that is for locking with the base portion, the plate is formed with an aperture at a predetermined position and serves to engage with a protrusion that formed at a corresponding position of the base portion.
