Abstract
A grooved rolled threaded flange of special grooved geometry ( 101 ) consisting of a grooved flange outwardly extended within this grooved a gasket ( 102 ) is housed of special grooved geometry which is placed between the drum top ( 103 ) and the grooved flange the gaps ( 104 ) towards the top is filled up by the gasket while tit moves upward thereby sealing the flange with the drum top.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 ) A grooved rolled threaded flange of special grooved geometry ( 101 ) consisting of a grooved flange outwardly extended within this grooved a gasket ( 102 ) is housed of special grooved geometry which is placed between the drum top ( 103 ) and the grooved flange the gaps ( 104 ) towards the top is filled up by the gasket, while it moves upward thereby sealing the flange with the drum top.
2 ) A Grooved Rolled Threaded Flange of special grooved geometry (part 101 ) is claimed in claim 1 wherein behind a threaded part having a straight vertical/height cylindrical portion and grooved angular base portion extended outwardly which accommodates a gasket which get sandwiched between the height of the flange and the cylindrical neck of the drum.
3 ) A Grooved Rolled Threaded Flange of special grooved geometry ( 101 ) as claimed in claim 1 wherein the drum top is curled outwardly to press against gasket.
4 ) A Grooved Rolled Threaded Flange of special grooved geometry ( 101 ) as claimed in claim 1 wherein the gasket climb upward while insertion instead of going horizontally which makes assembly leak proof even during accident or drop test wherein drum sheet leaves flanges base as per sketch FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 .
5 ) A Grooved Rolled Threaded Flange of special grooved geometry ( 101 ) as claimed in claim 1 wherein the flange and the drum top is made from any material particularly of metals and non metals.
6 ) A Grooved Rolled Threaded Flange of special grooved geometry ( 101 ) as claimed in claim 1 the gasket is made from resilient material.
7 ) A Grooved Rolled Threaded Flange of special grooved geometry ( 101 ) as claimed in claim 1 wherein the special grooved geometry restricts horizontal flow of gasket and makes it climb up vertically along flange wall during insertion and lodge itself between drum top wall.
8 ) A Grooved Rolled Threaded Flange of special grooved geometry ( 101 ) as claimed in claim 1 wherein due to favorable gasket material flow as result of groove there is less contraction force on flange thread preventing inward collapse or thread during insertion for some degree of sealing achieved and vice versa there is higher degree sealing achieved for some contraction force imported to flange thread as a result of generation of pressure due to insertion.
9 ) A Grooved Rolled Threaded Flange of special grooved geometry I claimed in claim 1 has higher loose stiffness due to special groove geometry and would as a result whilst and higher degree of abuse in case of accident in transport of hazardous chemicals.
10 ) A Grooved Rolled Threaded Flange of special grooved geometry ( 101 ) as claimed in claim 1 has higher effective base thickness as per (sketch) and would be able to economically replace higher base thickness flanges in same insertion die set ups.
