Kit for corrugated color-it-yourself structure

Abstract

Disclosed is a kit for constructing a color-it-yourself structure. The kit includes a folded cardboard or paperboard ply structure, a plurality of coloring instruments contained in an outer container which is sized and dimensioned to be used as a drop cloth under the structure as color is applied.

1 . A kit for a color-it-yourself structure, the kit comprising: 
 a corrugated coloring structure;    a coloring instrument for coloring the corrugated structure; and    a shipping box for enclosing the corrugated structure and the coloring instrument, the shipping box being sized and dimensioned to be usable as a drop cloth when positioned under the corrugated coloring structure.    
   
   
       2 . The kit as described in  claim 1 , further comprising a drop cloth comprising a sheet material.  
   
   
       3 . The kit as described in  claim 1 , wherein the coloring instrument is a paint.  
   
   
       4 . The kit as described in clam  3 , further comprising a brush for applying the paint to the corrugated structure.  
   
   
       5 . The kit as described in  claim 1 , wherein the corrugated coloring structure comprises a playhouse.  
   
   
       6 . The kit as described in  claim 1 , wherein the corrugated coloring structure includes a pre-printed outline.  
   
   
       7 . The kit as described in  claim 1 , wherein the corrugated coloring structure comprises a figure.  
   
   
       8 . The kit as described in  claim 1 , wherein the corrugated coloring structure comprises at least one of a house, a garage, a fort, a fence, a police station, a castle, a car, a fire department, a teepee, and a lemonade stand.  
   
   
       9 . The kit as described in  claim 1 , wherein the corrugated coloring structure comprises at least one of a pet carrier, a dog house, a cat house, or a puppy pen.  
   
   
       10 . The kit as described in  claim 1 , wherein the shipping container comprises a first and a second planar structure, wherein each of the first and second planar structures are positionable beneath the corrugated coloring structure and are sized and dimensioned to extend to a perimeter extending beyond the structure.  
   
   
       11 . The kit as described in  claim 10 , wherein the standing figure comprises at least one of a pumpkin, a Christmas tree, a horse, a rocket, a dog, a cat, a boy, or a girl.  
   
   
       12 . The kit as described in  claim 1 , wherein the corrugated coloring structure comprises at least one of a US Map, a shadow box, a fireplace, a brick wall, a manger, a window, or a door.  
   
   
       13 . A kit for a color-it-yourself structure, the kit comprising: 
 a folded corrugated structure;    a plurality of liquid paints for coloring the corrugated structure;    a brush for applying the liquid paints to the corrugated structure; and    a shipping box, for enclosing the corrugated structure, the liquid paints, and the brush, wherein the shipping box is sized and dimensioned to be positioned beneath the corrugated structure and is adaptable to be coupled beneath the structure to provide a floor for the structure.    
   
   
       14 . The kit as defined in  claim 13 , wherein the folded corrugated structure comprises at least one slot and at least one tab, the tab being insertable in the slot to assemble the structure.  
   
   
       15 . The kit as defined in  claim 13 , wherein the folded corrugated structure comprises a plurality of corrugated components, each of the components including at least one of a slot or a tab for interlocking with at least one of a slot and a tab in another component, wherein the plurality of corrugated components are assemblable into a structure.  
   
   
       16 . The kit as defined in  claim 15 , wherein the corrugated components comprise at least one component foldable to provide four walls, and at least one component for forming a roof.  
   
   
       17 . The kit as defined in  claim 16 , further comprising at least one component foldable into a chimney connectable to the roof to provide a playhouse.  
   
   
       18 . A kit for a color it yourself structure, the kit comprising: 
 a plurality of corrugated components, the components each comprising at least one tab or at least one slot for interconnecting the corrugated components to provide a structure, each of the components being folded along one or more fold line to allow for reducing the size of the components for shipping, at least one of the fold lines further providing structure when the component is unfolded, each of the components further including at least one preprinted paint line indicating where paint is to be applied;    a plurality of liquid paints for coloring the corrugated components;    at least one brush for applying the paint; and    a shipping carton for receiving the corrugated components, the liquid paints, and the brush, the shipping carton being sized and dimensioned to be positionable beneath the structure as the corrugated components are folded and interconnected to provide the structure and as the liquid paints are applied to the structure to absorb paint.    
   
   
       19 . The kit as defined in  claim 18 , wherein the corrugated components comprise a corrugated kraft material.  
   
   
       20 . The kit as defined in  claim 18 , wherein a portion of the shipping carton is adapted to be provided beneath the structure as a floor of the structure.  
   
   
       21 . The kit as defined in  claim 19 , wherein at least a portion of the shipping carton is adapted to be adhered beneath the structure to form a floor.  
   
   
       22 . The kit as defined in  claim 18 , wherein the shipping carton comprises a first and a second planar structure, the first and second planar structures being sized and dimensioned to provide a drop cloth extending to a perimeter beyond an outer edge of the structure.  
   
   
       23 . The kit as defined in  claim 18 , wherein the shipping carton extends to a perimeter beyond the outer edge of the structure when unfolded to absorb paints.
