Method for playing a gambling card game with a dealer and at least one player that utilizies new wagers and elements of Faro

Abstract

A casino gambling type game for one or more players having 1) placing at least one wager to participate; 2) a dealer dealing two cards per round; 3) Resolving the wagers against the predetermined winning outcomes and the appropriate pay table; 4) paying each player with a winning wager. The present invention comprises a casino style wagering game banked by the house, represented by a dealer. Three steps comprise the play of the game 1) wager(s) are placed by the player 2) The dealer deals two cards, one Player card and one Dealer card 3) The dealer taking the losing bets and then paying the winning bets. The outcome of the game is not related to the skill of either the dealer or the player but is determined probabilistically by the random shuffle of the cards.

1 . A method of playing a wagering card game, comprising: placing at least one of several different types of single part wagers to participate in a casino faro-type game. A dealer dealing a round; consisting of two cards, one card for the dealer and one card for the player, resolving each round according to the rules and pay scales for each type of bet.  
   
   
       2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein a payout is made to the player on the Card Denomination wager for one of thirteen predetermined winning outcomes, wherein the predetermined winning outcome is determined by the value of the card wagered on compared against the value of the card the dealer has drawn for the Player Card. When the dealer drawn Player Card matches the value of a card denomination bet; the outcome is a win for the player. If the dealer drawn Dealer card matches the value of the card bet the result is a loss. If the Player Card does not match the player's card denomination bet the result is a push. If the Player Card and the Dealer Card tie then any matching Card denomination bets loses a percentage of the bet between 50% and 100%.  
   
   
       3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein payouts on the Card Denomination wager winning outcomes is made in proportion to an amount wagered.  
   
   
       4 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the hands are resolved according to a pay table that pays a proportional payout on the Card Denomination bet for each predetermined winning outcome, wherein the proportional payouts include possible payouts of between at least 1 to 1 and 2 to 1 against the single part wager.  
   
   
       5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein a payout is made to the player on the High Card wager for one of six predetermined winning outcomes, wherein payouts on the high Card wager winning outcomes is made in proportion to an amount wagered. The hands are resolved according to a pay table that pays a proportional payout on the High Card bet for each predetermined winning outcome, wherein the proportional payouts include possible payouts of between at least 1 to 1 and 2 to 1 against the single part wager.  
   
   
       6 . The method of  claim 5  wherein the predetermined winning outcome is determined by comparing the High Card wager against the value of the card the dealer has drawn for the Player Card, wherein the predetermined value of High Cards are 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen & King. When the dealer drawn Player Card matches the value of a High Card bet; the outcome is a win for the player. If the Player Card does not fall within the High Card range and is not a 7 than the bet loses 100% of the wager. If the Player Card is a 7 the bet loses between 50% and 100% of the wager.  
   
   
       7 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein a payout is made to the player on the Low Card wager for one of six predetermined winning outcomes, wherein the predetermined winning outcome is determined by comparing the Low Card wager against the value of the card the dealer has drawn for the Player Card, wherein he predetermined value of Low Cards are Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. Payouts on the Low Card wager winning outcomes are made in proportion to an amount wagered.  
   
   
       8 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein the hands are resolved according to a pay table that pays a proportional payout on the Low Card bet for each predetermined winning outcome, wherein the proportional payouts include possible payouts of between at least 1 to 1 and 2 to 1 against the single part wager, wherein the dealer drawn Player Card matches the value of a Low Card bet; the outcome is a win for the player. If the Player Card does not fall within the Low Card range and is not a 7 the bet loses 100% of the wager. If the Player Card is a 7 the bet loses between 50% and 100% of the wager.  
   
   
       9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein a payout is made to the player on the Player Card/Dealer Card wager for the predetermined winning outcomes, wherein payouts on the Player Card/Dealer Card wagers winning outcomes are made in proportion to an amount wagered. The hands are resolved according to a pay table that pays a proportional payout on the Player Card/Dealer Card bet for each predetermined winning outcome.  
   
   
       10 . The method of  claim 9  wherein the proportional payouts include possible payouts of between at least 1 to 1 and 2 to 1 against the single part wager.  
   
   
       11 . The method of  claim 9  wherein the predetermined winning outcome is determined by comparing the value of the Player Card against the value of the Dealer Card, wherein a wager made on the Player Card will be paid to the player when the player Card's value is greater than the Dealer Card. A wager on the Dealer Card will be paid to the player when the value of the Dealer Card is greater than the value of the Player Card. If the Player Card and the Dealer Card tie the bet loses. Non-winning or tie hands lose between 50% and 100% of the wager.  
   
   
       12 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein a payout is made to the player on the Hot Card wager for one of thirteen predetermined winning outcomes, wherein payouts on the Hot Card wagers winning outcomes are made in proportion to an amount wagered.  
   
   
       13 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein the hands are resolved according to a pay table that pays a proportional payout on the Hot Card bet for each predetermined winning outcome, wherein the proportional payouts include possible payouts of between at least 1 to 1 and 12 to 1 against the single part wager.  
   
   
       14 . The method of  claim 12  wherein the predetermined winning outcome is determined by comparing the value of the dealer drawn Player Card against the value card with the player defined Hot Card wager.  
   
   
       15 . The method of  claim 12  wherein a Hot Card wager will be paid to the player when the dealer drawn Player Card's value matches the card value chosen by the player as the Hot Card. If the dealer drawn player does not match the Hot Card wager loses between 50% and 100% of the wager.
