System and method for laying floor coverings
Abstract
The invention relates to a system and a method for laying floor coverings, in particular wall-to-wall carpet, on floors, in particular stairs, whereby the system has a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape and an adhesive mass, whereby the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has a carrier layer that is coated with an adhesive coating on a top surface that faces the floor covering and on a bottom surface that faces the floor or the stair. The adhesive mass can be applied at least partially for gluing a backing of the floor covering, in particular in areas with particular shear and/or peel stresses on the floor covering.
