Claims
Abstract
The invention recites a child carrier comprising a seat portion including a seat, a backrest, and a floor. The child carrier further includes a substantially rigid body, at least partially surrounding and supporting the seat portion. The rigid body also includes substantially solid side surfaces and at least partially defines a panel. In addition, the child carrier provides a plurality of wheels supporting the body, and an electronic device supported by the body.

54 . A shopping cart having a front and a rear, the cart comprising:
a substantially rigid plastic body defining a seat portion and a basket portion, the seat portion including a rear wall, opposed side walls, a seat, and a front wall; a basket fixedly seated within the basket portion at the front of the cart; and a handle positioned at the rear of the cart, such that the seat portion is between and bordered by the handle and the basket.
55 . The shopping cart of claim 54 , wherein the basket includes a first basket side and a second basket side and the body includes a first body side and a second body side, the first body side disposed in a covering relationship with at least a portion of the first basket side and the second body side disposed in a covering relationship with at least a portion of the second basket side.
56 . The shopping cart of claim 55 , wherein the first body side covers at least about 10 percent of the first basket side and the second body side covers at least about 10 percent of the second basket side.
57 . The shopping cart of claim 55 , wherein the first body side covers at least about 40 percent of the first basket side and the second body side covers at least about 40 percent of the second basket side.
58 . A shopping cart having a front and a rear, the cart comprising:
a substantially rigid plastic body defining a seat portion and a basket portion, the seat portion including a rear wall, opposed side walls, a front panel, and a seat, the seat portion having an open top portion; a basket fixedly seated within the basket portion at the front of the cart, the basket including a rear wall adjacent the seat portion; and at least one handle proximate the rear of the cart.
59 . The shopping cart of claim 58 , wherein the rear wall of the basket includes at least one foot-receiving opening.
60 . A shopping cart having a front and a rear, the cart comprising:
a substantially rigid plastic body defining a seat portion and a basket portion, the seat portion including a back rest, a seat, and a pair of opposed side panels; a basket seated within the basket portion and secured to the body, the basket including a base, a front wall, a pair of opposed side walls, and a rear wall, wherein the rear wall includes a pair of foot openings; a front panel extending between the opposed side panels and adjacent the rear wall of the basket; and a handle positioned at the rear of the cart, such that the seat portion is disposed substantially between the handle and the basket.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
