A Lock-In Training system. The Lock-In Training system displays on a computer screen a question, the correct answer to the question, and an incorrect answer to the question. The correct answer to the question includes a first word that is not a keyword. The incorrect answer to the question also includes the first word. The correct answer includes a second word that is a keyword. The second word is included in a first selection object that is selectable by a user. The incorrect answer includes a third word that is a keyword. The third word is included in a second selection object that is selectable by a user.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A training method performed by a computer, the method comprising:
1369 displaying on a computer screen a question, a correct answer to the question, and an incorrect answer to the question; the correct answer to the question containing a first word that is not a keyword; the incorrect answer to the question containing the first word; the correct answer including a second word that is a keyword; the second word being included in a first selection object that is selectable by the user; the incorrect answer including a third word that is a keyword; the third word being included in a second selection object that is selectable by the user.

2 . The training method of claim 1 , wherein the first selection object is selectable using a touch screen.

3 . The training method of claim 1 , wherein the first selection object is selectable using a mouse.

4 . The training method of claim 1 , wherein the first selection object is selectable using a trackball.

5 . The training method of claim 1 , wherein the first selection object is centered horizontally with respect to the second selection object.

6 . The training method of claim 1 , wherein the user is not allowed to continue training until the user selects the first selection object.

7 . The training method of claim 1 , wherein the appearance of the second selection object is modified if the second selection object is selected and the modification indicates that the third word in the second selection object is a part of the incorrect answer to the question.

8 . The training method of claim 1 , wherein a sound is generated if the second selection object is selected and the sound indicates that the third word in the second selection object is a part of the incorrect answer to the question.

9 . The training method of claim 1 , further comprising displaying a “Hint” object.

10 . The training method of claim 9 , wherein if the “Hint” object is selected by the user, then the appearance of the first selection object is modified.

11 . The training method of claim 1 , wherein the first selection object includes no displayed text that is not a keyword.

12 . The training method of claim 1 , wherein the correct answer and the incorrect answer include a keyword that was previously selected by the user.

13 . A training method performed by a computer, the method comprising: displaying on a computer screen a question, a first selection object and a second selection object; the first selection object, which is selectable by a user, includes a correct answer to the question; the correct answer to the question includes a first word that is not a keyword in a first font and a second word that is a keyword in a second font; the second selection object, which is selectable by a user, includes an incorrect answer to the question; the incorrect answer to the question includes a third word that is not a keyword in the first font and a fourth word that is a keyword in the second font.

14 . The training method of claim 13 , wherein the first selection object is selectable using a touch screen.

15 . The training method of claim 13 , wherein the first selection object is selectable using a mouse.

16 . The training method of claim 13 , wherein the first selection object is selectable using a trackball.

17 . The training method of claim 13 , wherein the first selection object is centered horizontally with respect to the second selection object.

18 . The training method of claim 13 , wherein the user is not allowed to continue training until the user selects the first selection object.

19 . The training method of claim 13 , wherein the appearance of the second selection object is modified if the second selection object is selected and the modification indicates that the second selection object is the incorrect answer to the question.

20 . The training method of claim 13 , wherein a sound is generated if the second selection object is selected and the sound indicates that the second selection object is the incorrect answer to the question.
