Abstract
It is desribed a device for applying a liquid or creamy substance, e.g. sunoil, suncream, polish, shoepolish etc. The device comprises a rear, impermeable layer ( 1 ), a porous layer ( 2 ) containing the substance to be applied and optionally a tear-off layer ( 3 ). The porous layer ( 2 ) can e.g. comprise a foamed plastic material, a nonwoven material or a bristlelike material. Optionally the porous layer ( 2 ) in addition is provided with holes or perforations.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An application device for applying a liquid or creamy substance such as suntan oil, suntan lotion, shoe polish, polishing agent or similar, comprising a porous layer ( 2 ), a rear impermeable layer ( 1 ) and possibly a tear-off layer ( 3 ), which porous layer ( 2 ) contains the substance to be applied
characterized in that the rear impermeable layer ( 1 ) consists of a non-rigid material, that the porous layer ( 2 ) has holes or perforations, and that an edge impermeable to the substance contained in the porous layer ( 2 ) is optionally provided along the outer edges of the porous layer ( 2 ).
2 . An application device in accordance with claim 1 ,
characterized in that the porous layer ( 2 ) is manufactured from a foam rubber material or a non-woven material with sufficient porosity to absorb the material to be applied.
3 . An application device in accordance with claim 1 ,
characterized in that the porous layer ( 2 ) is manufactured from a bristle-like material.
4 . An application device in accordance with any of the preceding claim 1 ,
characterized in that the impermeable layer ( 1 ) is manufactured from a plastic material or a metal foil.
5 . An application device in accordance with claim 1 ,
characterized in that the tear-off layer ( 3 ) consists of a plastic material or a metal foil.
6 . An application device in accordance with claim 1 ,
characterized in that the back of the device is provided with a pocket adapted to the user's fingers.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
