Abstract

A seat cushion includes a cushion body and a connecting device for connecting detachably the cushion body to a chair unit. The cushion body includes a seat cushion portion adapted to be disposed on a seat member of the chair unit, a back cushion portion connected to the seat cushion portion, and two arm cushion portions connected respectively to left and right sides of the seat cushion portion and adapted to cover armrests of the chair unit. The connecting device includes two side connecting units, each of which includes inter-engageable first and second fastening units connected to the respective arm cushion portion proximate to and distal from the seat cushion portion, respectively, for positioning the respective arm cushion portion on the respective armrest.

A seat cushion adapted to be detachably connected to a chair unit, the chair unit including a seat member, a leg unit for supporting the seat member on the ground, a backrest connected to the seat member, and two armrests disposed respectively at two sides of the seat member, said seat cushion comprising: 
 a cushion body including a seat cushion portion adapted to be disposed on the seat member, a back cushion portion connected to a rear side of said seat cushion portion, and two arm cushion portions connected respectively to left and right sides of said seat cushion portion and adapted to cover the armrests; and    a connecting device for connecting detachably said cushion body to the chair unit, said connecting device including two side connecting units for positioning respectively said arm cushion portions on the armrests, each of said side connecting units including a first fastening unit connected to a respective one of said arm cushion portions proximate to said seat cushion portion, and a second fastening unit connected to the respective one of said arm cushion portions distal from said seat cushion portion, said first and second fastening units being inter-engaged to position the respective one of said arm cushion portions on the respective one of the armrests.    
   
   
       2 . The seat cushion as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said first and second connecting units are configured as fastener straps having hooks and loops.  
   
   
       3 . The seat cushion as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said first and second connecting units are configured as male and female snap fasteners.

The seat cushion as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said cushion body further includes two marginal portions connected respectively to said arm cushion portions distal from said seat cushion portion, said second fastening unit of each of said side connecting units being secured on a respective one of said marginal portions.

The seat cushion as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said connecting device further includes a seat connecting unit for positioning said seat cushion portion on the seat member, said seat connecting unit including a seat strap connected fixedly to a bottom side of said seat cushion portion, and a pair of releasable seat fasteners connected fixedly and respectively to two ends of said seat strap.

The seat cushion as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said connecting device further includes a back connecting unit for positioning said back cushion portion on the backrest, said back connecting unit including a back strap connected fixedly to a rear side of said back cushion portion, and a pair of releasable back fasteners connected fixedly and respectively to two ends of said back strap.
