Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. A mophead comprising a holder, flexible absorbent mop material held by the holder, and a cleaning implement which is independent of the mop material and which is one of permanently attached and disengageably attachable to the holder at a position adjacent to the outside of the mop material.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 1 , wherein, when the cleaning implement is permanently attached, the cleaning implement is unitarily formed as part of the holder.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 1 , wherein, when the cleaning implement is permanently attached, the cleaning implement is fastened to the holder using a non-releasable fastening.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the non-releasable fastening is stitching, bonding, welding, and/or riveting.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the cleaning implement is one of an abrasive pad and a scraper and a brush and a combination thereof.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the cleaning implement is one of positioned and postionable on an edge of the holder.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 1 , wherein two said cleaning implements are provided.

. A cleaning implement for use with a mophead as claimed in claim 1 , when the cleaning implement is releasably attachable to the holder, the cleaning implement including at least part of a retaining mechanism by which the cleaning implement is engageable with the holder of the mophead.

. A cleaning implement as claimed in claim 8 , further including one of an abrasive pad and a scraper and a brush and a combination thereof.

. A cleaning implement as claimed in claim 9 , wherein, when the cleaning implement is multi-functional, the cleaning implement is reversible.

. A cleaning implement as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the said part of the retaining mechanism includes a channel element by which the cleaning implement is push-fit engageable with the holder.

. A cleaning implement as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the said part of the retaining mechanism further includes a shoulder formed in the channel element for engagement with the holder of the mophead.

. A cleaning implement as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the said part of the retaining mechanism further includes at least one slot formed in the channel element to enable engagement with the holder of the mophead.

. A mophead in combination with a cleaning implement as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the retaining mechanism further includes at least one catch element formed on the holder of the mophead to enable engagement with the channel element of the cleaning implement.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mop material is a bundle of flexible strands.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mop material is one of a sheet and sheets of flexible absorbent material.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 1 , in combination with a mop wringer.

. A mophead as claimed in claim 1 , in combination with a cleaning liquid container.

. A combination as claimed in claim 18 , wherein the container includes a mop wringer.

. A mop having a mophead as claimed in claim 1.
