Abstract

Bucket tool organizers useful for transporting and storing tools and other utensils are disclosed. A bucket tool organizer in accordance with an exemplary embodiment may include a bucket mounted tool carrier adapted to contour about a container such as a bucket or pail, and a tool insert situated within the interior of the container. The bucket mounted tool carrier may include a number of pockets located on both an interior and exterior panel member that can be used to store objects therein. The tool insert may include a contoured holster situated within the interior of the container to store larger items such as power tools or the like.

1 . A bucket tool organizer, comprising: 
 a tool insert situated within the interior of a container having an upper end, an opening near the upper end, a closed lower end, and a side wall, said tool insert including a holster having a shape configured to tightly receive an object therein, the shape being bounded by first and second side panels, first and second end panels, and a bottom panel.    
   
   
       2 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , wherein the holster has a contoured shape corresponding in size and shape with the object.  
   
   
       3 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , wherein the tool insert is situated at or near the centroid of the container.  
   
   
       4 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , wherein the bottom panel of said tool insert includes a necked-down region.  
   
   
       5 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , further comprising an eyelet disposed through the bottom panel.  
   
   
       6 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , wherein the tool insert is removably situated within the interior of the container.  
   
   
       7 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , wherein the holster is formed from a fabric or cloth material.  
   
   
       8 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , wherein the tool insert includes one or more pockets attached to one or both of said first and second side panels.  
   
   
       9 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , further comprising a set of clips attached to the tool insert, said set of clips adapted to releasably secure the tool insert to the upper end of the container.  
   
   
       10 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , further comprising a bucket mounted tool carrier adapted to contour about the container.  
   
   
       11 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 10 , wherein the bucket mounted tool carrier includes a cylindrically shaped interior panel member configured to drape over said open end and extend into the interior of the container, and an exterior panel member configured to drape over the exterior of the container.  
   
   
       12 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 11 , wherein the exterior panel member includes a slotted section.  
   
   
       13 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 11 , wherein the interior panel member includes a pleated section.  
   
   
       14 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 11 , wherein the tool insert is fixedly secured to the bucket mounted tool carrier.  
   
   
       15 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 1 , wherein said object is a power tool.  
   
   
       16 . A bucket tool organizer, comprising: 
 a tool insert removably situated within the interior of a container having an upper end, an opening near the upper end, a closed lower end, and a side wall, said tool insert including a contoured holster having a shape configured to tightly receive an object therein, the shape being bounded by first and second side panels, first and second end panels, and a bottom panel; and    fastening means for releasably securing the tool insert to the upper end of the container.    
   
   
       17 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 16 , wherein the tool insert is situated at or near the centroid of the container.  
   
   
       18 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 16 , wherein the bottom panel of said tool insert includes a necked-down region.  
   
   
       19 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 16 , further comprising an eyelet disposed through the bottom panel.  
   
   
       20 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 16 , wherein the contoured holster is formed from a fabric or cloth material.  
   
   
       21 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 16 , wherein the tool insert includes one or more pockets attached to one or both of said first and second side panels.  
   
   
       22 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 16 , wherein said fastening means comprises a set of clips.  
   
   
       23 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 16 , further comprising a bucket mounted tool carrier adapted to contour about the container.

The bucket tool organizer of  claim 23 , wherein the bucket mounted tool carrier includes a cylindrically shaped interior panel member configured to drape over said open end and extend into the interior of the container, and an exterior panel member configured to drape over the exterior of the container.  
   
   
       25 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 24 , wherein the exterior panel member includes a slotted section.  
   
   
       26 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 24 , wherein the interior panel member includes a pleated section.  
   
   
       27 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 16 , wherein said object is a power tool.  
   
   
       28 . A bucket tool organizer, comprising: 
 a bucket mounted tool carrier adapted to contour about a container having an upper end, an opening near the upper end, a closed lower end, and a side wall, said bucket mounted tool carrier including a cylindrically shaped interior panel member configured to drape over said open end and extend into the interior of the container, and an exterior panel member configured to drape over the exterior of the container; and    a tool insert situated within the interior of the container, said tool insert including a contoured holster having a shape configured to tightly receive an object therein, the shape being bounded by first and second side panels, first and second end panels, and a bottom panel.    
   
   
       29 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 28 , wherein the tool insert is situated at or near the centroid of said container.  
   
   
       30 . The bucket tool organizer of  claim 28 , wherein the bottom panel of said tool insert includes a necked-down region.

 a bucket mounted tool carrier adapted to contour about a container having an open upper end, a closed lower end, and a side wall, said bucket mounted tool carrier including a cylindrically shaped interior panel member configured to drape over said open end and extend into the interior of the container, and an exterior panel member configured to drape over the exterior of the container;    a tool insert removably situated within the interior of the container, said tool insert including a contoured holster having a shape configured to tightly receive an object therein, the shape being bounded by first and second side panels, first and second end panels, and a bottom panel; and    fastening means for releasably securing the tool insert to the upper end of the container and to the bucket mounted tool carrier.    
   
   
       41 . A bucket tool organizer, comprising: 
 a bucket mounted tool carrier adapted to contour about a container having an open upper end, a closed lower end, and a side wall, said bucket mounted tool carrier including a cylindrically shaped interior panel member configured to drape over said open end and extend into the interior of the container, and an exterior panel member configured to drape over the exterior of the container; and    a tool insert situated within the interior of the container, said tool insert including a contoured holster fixedly secured to the bucket mounted tool carrier and having a shape configured to tightly receive an object therein, the shape being bounded by first and second side panels, first and second end panels, and a bottom panel.
