Abstract
Apparatus, methods and articles of manufacture are shown for modifying electromagnetic waves. Through using various wave characteristics such as amplitude to regulate a current source, a current is output that may be used in any number of ways, such as driving an antenna or other load.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for electromagnetic processing comprising:
regulating at least two independently controllable current sources with at least one independently provided wave characteristic wherein each of said at least two independently controllable current sources is capable of generating a current when switched either on or off independently of said other independently controllable current sources.
2 . A method as in claim 1 wherein said at least one independently provided wave characteristic is an amplitude characteristic.
3 . A method as in claim 1 further comprising:
generating a current via said at least two independently controllable current sources.
4 . A method as in claim 1 further comprising:
independently providing each of said at least one wave characteristics via at least one wave generator.
5 . A method as in claim 4 wherein independently providing each of said at least one wave characteristics further comprises:
providing an amplitude characteristic.
6 . A method as in claim 4 wherein:
each of said at least one wave characteristics is provided independently via a converter.
7 . A method as in claim 4 wherein:
each of said at least one wave characteristics is provided independently via a polar converter.
8 . A method as in claim 4 wherein:
each of said at least one wave characteristics is provided independently via a filter.
9 . A method as in claim 4 wherein:
each of said at least one wave characteristics is provided independently via a digital to analog converter.
10 . A method as in claim 1 wherein said at least one independently provided wave characteristic is comprised of a first wave characteristic and second wave characteristic and further comprising:
providing said first wave characteristic and second wave characteristic to said at least two independently controllable current sources.
11 . A method as in claim 10 wherein said first wave characteristic is an amplitude characteristic.
12 . A method as in claim 10 further comprising:
providing said first wave characteristic and said second wave characteristic in a synchronized manner.
13 . A method as in claim 10 further comprising:
providing said second wave characteristic via a Voltage Controlled Oscillator.
14 . A method of electromagnetic processing comprising:
independently providing an amplitude characteristic and a phase characteristic in synchronization; supplying said amplitude characteristic and said phase characteristic to a transistor capable of generating a current with at least two independently controllable current sources.
15 . A method as in claim 14 further comprising:
generating a current.
16 . A method of electromagnetic processing comprising:
providing a first wave characteristic; regulating a first source of wave characteristics with said first wave characteristic; providing a second source of wave characteristics; and, regulating said second source of wave characteristics with said first source of wave characteristics, wherein said second source of wave characteristics comprises a transistor capable of generating a current with two or more independently controllable current sources.
17 . An apparatus for electromagnetic processing comprising:
at least two independently controllable current sources; and means for regulating said at least two independently controllable current sources with at least one wave characteristic; wherein said at least two independently controllable current sources are capable of generating a current.
18 . An apparatus as in claim 17 wherein said at least one wave characteristic is an amplitude characteristic.
19 . An apparatus as in claim 17 wherein said at least two independently controllable current sources generate a current.
20 . An apparatus as in claim 17 further comprising:
means for providing said at least one wave characteristic.
21 . An apparatus as in claim 20 wherein said means for providing said at least one wave characteristic further comprises means for providing an amplitude characteristic.
22 . An apparatus as in claim 20 wherein said means for providing said at least one wave characteristic further comprises a converter.
23 . An apparatus as in claim 20 wherein said means for providing said at least one wave characteristic further comprises a polar converter.
24 . An apparatus as in claim 20 wherein said means for providing said at least one wave characteristic further comprises a filter.
25 . An apparatus as in claim 20 wherein said means for providing said at least one wave characteristic further comprises a digital to analog converter.
26 . An apparatus as in claim 17 wherein said at least one wave characteristic is comprised of a first wave characteristic and second wave characteristic and further comprising:
means for providing said second wave characteristic to said at least two independently controllable current sources.
27 . An apparatus as in claim 26 wherein said first wave characteristic is an amplitude characteristic.
28 . An apparatus as in claim 26 wherein said second wave characteristic is a phase characteristic.
29 . An apparatus as in claim 26 further comprising:
means for providing said first wave characteristic and said second wave characteristic in a synchronized manner.
30 . An apparatus as in claim 26 wherein said means for providing said first wave characteristic and said second wave characteristic further comprises a converter.
31 . An apparatus as in claim 26 wherein said means for providing said first wave characteristic and said second wave characteristic further comprises a polar converter.
32 . An apparatus as in claim 26 wherein said means for providing a first wave characteristic and said second wave characteristic further comprises a digital to analog converter.
33 . An apparatus as in claim 26 wherein said means for providing a first wave characteristic further comprises a filter.
34 . An apparatus for electromagnetic processing comprising:
means for providing a first wave characteristic; means for regulating a first source of wave characteristics with said first wave characteristic; means for providing a second source of wave characteristics; and, means for regulating said second source of wave characteristics with said first source of wave characteristics, wherein said second source of wave characteristics comprises a transistor capable of generating an electromagnetic wave with two or more independently controllable current sources.
35 . An integrated circuit for electromagnetic processing comprising:
a converter for providing an amplitude characteristic and a phase characteristic in synchronization; a transistor capable of generating a current with at least two independently controllable current sources, for receiving said amplitude characteristic and said phase characteristic.
36 . A method for electromagnetic processing comprising:
regulating a control component according to an amplitude characteristic of a wave, and, regulating two or more independently controllable transistor segments according to said control component wherein said independently controllable transistor segments are capable of generating a current.
37 . A method as in claim 36 further comprising generating a current.
38 . A method for electromagnetic processing comprising:
regulating a plurality of control components according to an amplitude characteristic of a wave, and, regulating a plurality of independently controllable transistor segments according to said plurality of control components wherein said plurality of independently controllable transistor segments are capable of generating a current.
39 . A method as in claim 38 further comprising generating a current.
40 . An apparatus for electromagnetic processing comprising:
a plurality of independently controllable transistor segments; and a means for regulating said plurality of independently controllable transistor segments according to an amplitude characteristic of a wave; wherein said transistor segments are capable of generating a predetermined current.
41 . An apparatus as in claim 40 wherein said means for regulating said transistor segment according to an amplitude characteristic of a wave comprises a control component which is regulated according to an amplitude characteristic of said wave.
42 . An apparatus as in claim 41 wherein said control component further comprises a transistor.
43 . An integrated circuit for electromagnetic processing comprising:
means for regulating a plurality of independently controllable transistor segments according to an amplitude characteristic of a wave wherein said plurality of independently controllable transistor segments are capable of generating a predetermined current.
