Bobby-pin hair fastener

Abstract

A bobby-pin hair fastening band for fastening and styling hair comprising an elastic band with bobby-pins attached to each end. The user places the first bobby-pin to the hair. The user then wraps the band around, over or under their hair and places the second bobby-pin in the hair to secure.

1 . A method of securing and styling hair comprising: selecting a bobby-pin hair fastening band comprising: 
 a band with a first bobby-pin and a second bobby-pin attached to each end of a resilient band;    securing said first bobby-pin to a section of hair;    placing said band across, around, or under a section of hair;    and securing said second bobby-pin to a section of hair to secure the finished style.    
   
   
       2 . A hair fastening band for use in styling hair of a human being comprising in combination: 
 a length of resilient fabric; a first bobby-pin and a second bobby-pin attached to each end of said resilient fabric;    whereby, said first bobby-pin can be secured to a section of hair, said band may be secured around, over, or under said hair such that said resilient fabric holds said hair in place; and said second bobby-pin can be fastened to a section of hair to secure the finished style.    
   
   
       3 . The embodiment of  claim 2  wherein the length of resilient fabric is a looped hair band.  
   
   
       4 . The embodiment of  claim 2  wherein the resilient band is attached to the first bobby-pin end and the second bobby-pin end by tying each end of the resilient band to each bobby-pin end.  
   
   
       5 . The embodiment of  claim 4  wherein each tied portion of each said resilient band end is glued to the first bobby-pin end and the second bobby-pin end.  
   
   
       6 . The embodiment of  claim 2  wherein the resilient band is attached to the first bobby-pin end and the second bobby-pin end by feeding the resilient band through a loop that is formed to each said bobby-pin end and glued to form a looped band.
