Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of patching a hole in a wall, comprising the steps of:
a) placing an integrated support on a reverse side of the wall, wherein the support is free floating; and b) applying a repair compound over the support.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein step (a) further includes the steps of:
a1) inserting a support apparatus into the hole; a2) expanding the support apparatus to form a backing on the reverse side of the wall.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein step (a2) further includes the steps of:
i) holding an arm of the support apparatus; ii) pushing an actuating device to expand a plurality of appendages; II) pulling the plurality of appendages snuggly against the reverse side of the wall.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further including the steps of:
c) allowing the repair compound to cure to form a cured surface; d) sanding the cured surface.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further including the step of:
c) applying a finishing to the hole.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further including the steps of:
c) allowing the repair compound to cure to form a cured surface; d) removing a protruding portion of an arm of the support; e) applying a finish to the cured surface.
7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein step (e) further includes the steps of:
e1) applying a finish coating over the cured surface; e2) preparing the finish coating to form a matching surface.
8 . A repair kit for a wall, comprising:
an integrated support apparatus that forms a backing on a reverse side of the wall, wherein the support is free floating; and a repair compound.
9 . The repair kit of claim 8 , further including a set of instructions and a shaping tool.
10 . The repair kit of claim 9 , wherein the support apparatus is expandable.
11 . The repair kit of claim 8 , wherein the repair compound is a dry wall patch compound.
12 . The repair kit of claim 8 , wherein the repair compound is an automotive repair material.
13 . The repair kit of claim 8 , wherein the repair compound includes a first portion for filling the hole and a second portion for finishing a surface.
14 . The repair kit of claim 8 , wherein the support apparatus comprises:
an arm; a plurality of appendages attached to the arm; an actuating device attached to the plurality of appendages and sliding over the arm; a webbing between the plurality of appendages.
15 . A parasol comprising:
a cover; a plurality of appendages attached to the cover; and an activation mechanism coupled to the plurality of appendages having at least two legs.
16 . The parasol of claim 15 , wherein the activation mechanism has a pair of legs that are separable.
17 . The parasol of claim 15 , wherein the at least two legs are deformable.
18 . The parasol of claim 15 , wherein the at least two legs are formed by a loop.
19 . The parasol of claim 16 , wherein the plurality of appendages are attached to a gift bow.
20 . The parasol of claim 15 , wherein the pair of legs are made of wire.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
