Gutter cover
Abstract
A gutter cover for covering the top of a gutter to allow water to enter the gutter but to prevent large debris from entering. The cover has an elongated, perforated, main section and a side section on one side of the main section. The side section defines a channel that opens away from the main section, the channel sized to fit over the upper lip of a gutter. There is a gripping surface on the cover on or near the side section that extends upwardly. The gripping surface faces away from the channel opening and is used to pull the channel over the lip of an installed gutter when installing the cover on the gutter.

3 . A gutter cover as claimed in claim 2 wherein the channel is defined by a top wall, a bottom wall and an end wall joining the top and bottom walls.
4 . A gutter cover as claimed in claim 3 wherein the bottom wall of the channel is aligned with the panel, and the surface of the end wall adjacent the panel forms the gripping surface.
5 . A gutter as claimed in claim 4 wherein the bottom wall is shorter than the end wall.
6 . A gutter as claimed in claim 4 wherein the bottom wall has retaining means on its top surface near its outer free end.
7 . A gutter as claimed in claim 5 wherein the bottom wall has retaining means on its top surface near its outer free end.
8 . A gutter cover as claimed in claim 1 wherein the channel is defined by a top wall, a bottom wall and an end wall joining the top and bottom walls.
9 . A gutter cover as claimed in claim 8 wherein the bottom wall of the channel is aligned with the panel, and the surface of the end wall adjacent the panel forming the gripping surface.
10 . A gutter cover as claimed in claim 9 wherein the bottom wall is shorter than the end wall.
11 . A gutter cover as claimed in claim 10 wherein the bottom wall has retaining means on its top surface near its outer free end.
12 . A gutter cover as claimed in claim 8 wherein the top wall is aligned with the panel and a support wall extends upwardly from panel or the top wall to provide the gripping surface.
