Christmas tree watering system
Abstract
The Christmas tree watering system is an apparatus for watering a Christmas tree that includes a water reservoir connected to a length of conduit. The water reservoir is substantially cylindrical with a bottom opening extending downwardly, a support loop extending upwardly, and a hook that is shaped and dimensioned for attachment to the branch of a Christmas tree extending from the support loop. The conduit has an upper end that adjoins the bottom opening of the reservoir and a lower end with a strip of hook and loop material attached thereto for securing the lower end to the trunk of a Christmas tree. The reservoir and conduit are configured to automatically supply water to a Christmas tree stand using the force off gravity and vacuum control, and to thereby allow for adequate watering of the tree without requiring someone to crawl under the tree to inspect the level of water in the tree stand.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A Christmas tree watering system for supplying water to a water receptacle of a Christmas tree stand supporting a Christmas tree, the system comprising:
a water reservoir having a bottom outlet; means for securing said water reservoir to the Christmas tree; a conduit extending from said water reservoir to the water receptacle, the conduit having an upper end connected to said bottom outlet of said water reservoir and a lower end; and means for securing said lower end of said conduit to the trunk of the Christmas tree.
2 . The Christmas tree watering system according to claim 1 , further comprising a support loop formed in a top end of said water reservoir, said means for securing said water reservoir comprising a hook extending from the support loop formed in said water reservoir.
3 . The Christmas tree watering system according to claim 1 , further comprising a support loop formed in said water reservoir, said means for securing said water reservoir comprising a strip of hook and loop fastening material extending from the support loop in said water reservoir.
4 . The Christmas tree watering system according to claim 1 , wherein said means for securing the lower end of said conduit to the trunk of the Christmas tree comprises a strip of hook and loop fastening material.
5 . The Christmas tree watering system according to claim 1 , wherein said water reservoir and said conduit are constructed of plastic.
6 . The Christmas tree watering system according to claim 1 , wherein the lower end of said conduit is rigid, whereby when pressure is applied to the lower end, the lower end remains patent.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
