Abstract
Inosine compounds, compositions comprising an inosine compound and methods for treating or preventing an inflammation disease or a reperfusion disease comprising administering an effective amount of an inosine compound to a patient in need thereof are disclosed.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 2 . (canceled)
3 . A method for treating or preventing arthritis, comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of formula I:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
R 1 is C 2 -C 6 acyl, SO 3 H or P 2 O 6 H 3 ; and
R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are independently H, C 2 -C 6 acyl, SO 3 H, PO 3 H 2 , P 2 O 6 H 3 or P 3 O 9 H 4 .
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein R 1 is C 2 -C 6 acyl in the compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
5 . The method of claim 3 , wherein R 1 is − SO 3 H in the compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
6 . The method of claim 3 , wherein R 1 is P 2 O 6 H 3 in the compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
7 . (canceled)
8 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the C 2 -C 6 acyl is acetyl.
9 - 75 . (canceled)
76 . The method of claim 5 , wherein R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are each H.
77 . The method of claim 3 , wherein R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are each H and R 1 is SO 3 − Na + .
78 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising administering an effective amount of an non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent.
79 . A method for treating or preventing an inflammatory lung disorder, comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of formula I:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
R 1 is C 2 -C 6 acyl, SO 3 H or P 2 O 6 H 3 ; and
R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are independently H, C 2 -C 6 acyl, SO 3 H, PO 3 H 2 , P 2 O 6 H 3 or P 3 O 9 H 4 .
80 . The method of claim 79 , wherein R 1 is C 2 -C 6 acyl in the compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
81 . The method of claim 79 , wherein R 1 is SO 3 H in the compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
82 . The method of claim 79 , wherein R 1 is P 2 O 6 H 3 in the compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
83 . The method of claim 80 , wherein the C 2 -C 6 acyl is acetyl.
84 . The method of claim 81 , wherein R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are each H.
85 . The method of claim 79 , wherein R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are each H and R 1 is SO 3 − Na + .
86 . The method of claim 89 , further comprising administering an effective amount of an non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent.
87 . A method for treating or preventing diabetes, comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of formula I:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
R 1 is C 2 -C 6 acyl, SO 3 H or P 2 O 6 H 3 ; and
R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are independently H, C 2 -C 6 acyl, SO 3 H, PO 3 H 2 , P 2 O 6 H 3 or P 3 O 9 H 4 .
88 . The method of claim 87 , wherein R 1 is C 2 -C 6 acyl in the compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
89 . The method of claim 87 , wherein R 1 is SO 3 H in the compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
90 . The method of claim 87 , wherein R 1 is P 2 O 6 H 3 in the compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
91 . The method of claim 87 , wherein the C 2 -C 6 acyl is acetyl.
92 . The method of claim 89 , wherein R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are each H.
93 . The method of claim 87 , wherein R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are each H and R 1 is SO 3 − Na + .
94 . The method of claim 87 , further comprising administering an effective amount of an non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent.
95 . The method of claim 79 , wherein the inflammatory lung disorder is asthma or chronic obstructive airway disorder.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
