Percussion device of a paintball gun

Abstract

A percussion device of a paintball gun includes a piston and an action reciprocally movably received in a body of the paintball gun. A snapper is movably mounted in between the piston and the action for selectively connecting the piston and the action. An actuated rod is movably received in the action and has a stick longitudinally extending form the actuated rod. A neck is formed on the stick for defining a receiving space. The piston and the action are connected to each other when the snapper abuts the stick, and the action is in a free condition and can be detached from the paintball gun when the snapper is received in the receiving space.

1 . A percussion device of a paintball gun, comprising an action and a piston adapted to be respectively reciprocally movably received in a body of the paintball gun, the action and the piston being synchronously operated, wherein 
 the action includes: 
 a rear end extending out of the body of the paintball gun;  
 an actuated rod reciprocally movably received in the action, a rear end of the actuated rod longitudinally backward extending through the action and forming an enlarged head for easily operating the actuated rod, a stick longitudinally extending from the actuated rod opposite to the enlarged head and a neck formed on the stick for defining a receiving space; and  
 a snapper movably mounted between the action and the piston for connecting the piston and the action, the piston and the action engaged to each other and synchronously moved when the snapper abuts the stick, the action being in free condition and can be detached from the paintball gun when the actuated rod is inwardly pushed to make the snapper be received in the receiving space.  
   
   
   
       2 . The percussion device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the action further comprises: 
 a hole longitudinally defined in the action and extending to the rear end of the action for receiving the actuated rod, the hole having    a threaded portion formed on the rear end of the action; 
 a block screwed into the threaded portion of the hole to prevent the actuated from being detached from the action;  
 a stub longitudinally extending from the actuated rod through the block and the enlarged head formed on a free end of the stub after the stub extending through the block;  
 a spring receiving in the hole in the action between a free end of the stick and a bottom of the hole in the action, the spring pushing the actuated rod to make the stick abut the snapper for connecting the action and the piston; and  
 a through hole radially defined in the action for allowing the snapper extending into the hole to abut the stick.  
   
   
   
       3 . The percussion device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the snapper is a steel ball.  
   
   
       4 . The percussion device as claimed in  claim 1  further comprising a pin diametrically inserted into the piston for supporting the snapper.  
   
   
       5 . The percussion device as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the snapper is a steel ball.  
   
   
       6 . The percussion device as claimed in  claim 2  further comprising a pin diametrically inserted into the piston for supporting the snapper.  
   
   
       7 . The percussion device as claimed in  claim 3  further comprising a pin diametrically inserted into the piston for supporting the snapper, the pin having a dimple defined in a free end thereof for partially receiving the steel ball.
