Brush for cosmetic-or care-product application

Abstract

A brush for cosmetic- or care-product application to human skin, in particular for lip-cosmetic application, wherein a bunch of fibers is bent in a shape of a U and, in the vicinity of a bight of the U, is fixed in a recess of a shank of the brush, and wherein the fibers are pointed towards both tips.

A brush for cosmetic- or care-product application to human skin, in particular for lip-cosmetic application, a bunch of fibers being bent in a shape of a U and, in the vicinity of a bight of the U, being fixed in a recess of a shank of the brush, wherein the fibers ( 1 ) are pointed towards both tips ( 2 ,  3 ).  
   
   
       2 . A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein the diameter of the fibers ( 1 ), where thickest, amounts to 0.05 mm to 0.30 mm.  
   
   
       3 . A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein, starting in particular from the central sector ( 2 ), the fibers ( 1 ) taper by an angle of between 0.5° to 15°.  
   
   
       4 . A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein the fibers ( 1 ) consist of plastics, preferably PBT, polyester, polyacryl or polyamide.  
   
   
       5 . A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein the length of the fibers ( 1 ) is in a range of between 10 mm and 80 mm, preferably of approximately 28 mm.  
   
   
       6 . A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein the modulus of elasticity of the fibers ( 1 ) amounts to 1 to 4 GPa.  
   
   
       7 . A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein the shank ( 7 ) of the brush consists of plastics.  
   
   
       8 . A brush according to  claim 7 , wherein the diameter of the shank ( 7 ) ranges between 2 mm and 10 mm.  
   
   
       9 . A brush according to  claim 7 , wherein the length of the shank ( 7 ) ranges between 5 mm and 80 mm.

A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein the bunch of fibers is fixed in the recess of the shank ( 7 ) of the brush by anchor-stamping, loop-stamping, melting, gluing, welding, in particular laser-welding, by laser, infrared or ultrasonic welding, puncturing or injection-molding.  
   
   
       11 . A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein the number of fiber tips of the brush ranges between 25 and 1000 fibers.  
   
   
       12 . A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein fiber density ranges between 50 and 300 fibers per square millimeter.  
   
   
       13 . A brush according to  claim 1 , wherein the recess ( 6 ) has a round, oval or polygonal cross-sectional shape.
