Electronic image pickup apparatus

Abstract

An electronic image pickup apparatus includes a housing which houses an electronic image pickup unit, an image display unit, and a memory unit, and which has an opening for the pickup unit. A barrier is mounted on the housing to be movable between a closed position for covering the opening and an open position for opening the opening, and turns on an electric power of the apparatus by its movement from the closed position to the opening position. At least one operating member for at least one of cancelling an image in the memory unit and an image display on the display unit is mounted on the housing. The operating member is configured to turn on the power and to be operable to at least one of cancel the image and display the image when the operating member is operated while the barrier is arranged at the closed position.

1 . An electronic image pickup apparatus comprising: 
 an electronic image pickup unit which electronically picks up an image;    an image display unit which displays the electronically picked up image;    a memory unit which stores the electronically picked up image;    a housing which houses the electronic image pickup unit, the image display unit, and the memory unit, and which has an image pick-up opening for the electronic image pickup unit;    a barrier which is mounted on the housing to be movable between a closed position at which the barrier covers the image pick-up opening and an open position at which the barrier opens the image pick-up opening, and which turns on an electric power of the electronic image pickup apparatus by the movement of the barrier from the closed position to the opening position; and    at least one operating member which is mounted on the housing and which operates to at least one of cancel the image stored in the memory unit and display the image stored in the memory unit on the image display unit,    the at least one operating member being configured to turn on the electric power and to be operable to at least one of cancel the image stored in the memory unit and display the image stored in the memory unit on the image display unit when the at least one operating member is operated while the barrier is arranged at the closed position.

An electronic image pickup apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one operating member is configured to turn on the electric power and to be operable to cancel the image stored in the memory unit when the at least one operating member is operated while the barrier is arranged at the closed position.

An electronic image pickup apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one operating member is configured to be operable to display the image stored in the memory unit on the image display unit when the at least one operating member is operated while the barrier is arranged at the closed position.
