Adjustable handgrip

Abstract

An adjustable wrapping device comprising a flexible sheet of a compressible elastomer laminated to a sheet of a reinforcing fabric to form a laminated sheet. The sheet of compressible elastomer has an upper and lower surface wherein at least one of the surfaces is textured. A colored fabric is preferably affixed to at least one peripheral edge of the laminated sheet. The adjustable wrapping device further includes means for releasably attaching an upper edge portion of the laminated sheet to a lower opposing edge portion of the laminated sheet to enable the device to be formed into a cylindrical structure.

An adjustable wrapping device comprising a flexible sheet of a compressible elastomer having a textured, non-slip surface and a smooth opposing surface, said smooth opposing surface being laminated to a sheet of a substantially non-extensible reinforcing fabric to form a laminated sheet; and fastening means affixed to said laminated sheet, said fastening means being operable for releasably attaching opposing ends of said lamintated sheet to form a cylinder.  
   
   
       2 . The device of  claim 1  further comprising a second sheet of a compressible elastomer having a smooth surface and an opposing surface wherein said smooth surface on said second sheet is affixed to said sheet of said reinforcing fabric.  
   
   
       3 . The device of  claim 2  wherein said opposing surface of said second sheet of compressible elastomer is textured.  
   
   
       4 . The device of  claim 2  wherein said opposing surface of said second sheet of compressible elastomer is smooth.  
   
   
       5 . The device of  claim 1  further comprising a strip of colored fabric affixed to at least one peripheral edge of said laminated sheet.  
   
   
       6 . The device of  claim 2  further comprising a strip of colored fabric affixed to at least one peripheral edge of said laminated sheet.  
   
   
       7 . The device of  claim 3  further comprising a strip of colored fabric affixed to at least one peripheral edge of said laminated sheet.  
   
   
       8 . The device of  claim 4  further comprising a strip of colored fabric affixed to at least one peripheral edge of said laminated sheet.
