Multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion

Abstract

A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion, and method for manufacturing the same. The multi-sectional novelty device includes a plurality of seat cushion sections, including at least a first seat cushion section and a second seat cushion section, and an attaching mechanism. The first seat cushion section includes a non-linear first border, and the second seat cushion section includes a non-linear second border. The first border and the second border tessellate. The attaching medium is affixed to the first seat cushion section at the first border, and the attaching medium is preferably affixed to the second seat cushion section at the second border. The first seat cushion section and the second seat cushion section optionally include handles.

1 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion, comprising: 
 a plurality of seat cushion sections, including at least a first seat cushion section and a second seat cushion section; and    an attaching mechanism,    wherein said first seat cushion section includes a non-linear first border,    wherein said second seat cushion section includes a non-linear second border,    wherein the first border and the second border tessellate,    wherein said attaching medium is affixed to said first seat cushion section at the first border.    
   
   
       2 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein said attaching medium is affixed to said second seat cushion section at the second border.  
   
   
       3 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein said first seat cushion section further comprises a handle.  
   
   
       4 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 3 , wherein said second seat cushion section further comprises a handle.  
   
   
       5 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 4 , further comprising a carrying strap.  
   
   
       6 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according  1 , wherein said handle includes an ergonomic hand grip.  
   
   
       7 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein each of said plurality of seat cushion sections further comprises a handle.  
   
   
       8 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein the first border includes a zigzag pattern.  
   
   
       9 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein the first border includes a curved pattern.  
   
   
       10 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein each of said plurality of seat cushion sections are comprised substantially of foam.  
   
   
       11 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein said attaching mechanism is a hook and loop fastener.  
   
   
       12 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein said attaching mechanism is a fabric tie.  
   
   
       13 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein said attaching mechanism is a temporary adhesive.  
   
   
       14 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein said attaching mechanism is a snap.  
   
   
       15 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein said attaching mechanism is a zipper.  
   
   
       16 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein, when the first border and the second border are affixed together, the novelty device seat cushion is square shaped.  
   
   
       17 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein, when the first order and the second border are affixed together, the novelty device seat cushion is circular shaped.  
   
   
       18 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein, when the first border and the second border are affixed together, the novelty device seat cushion is rectangular shaped.  
   
   
       19 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 18 , wherein, when the first seat cushion section and the second seat cushion section are joined at an interface between the first border and the second border, the novelty device seat cushion fits on a standard-sized stadium seat.  
   
   
       20 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 18 , wherein, when the first seat cushion section and the second seat cushion section are joined at an interface between the first border and the second border, the novelty device seat cushion measures 14 inches by 14 inches.  
   
   
       21 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein said first seat cushion section further comprises a storage compartment.  
   
   
       22 . A multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 1 , wherein each of said plurality of seat cushion sections are constructed substantially of flexible polyurethane foam (FPF).  
   
   
       23 . A method of manufacturing a multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion, comprising the steps of: 
 forming a plurality of seat cushion sections, including at least a first seat cushion section and a second seat cushion section; and    affixing an attaching medium to a non-linear first border of the first seat cushion section,    wherein the first border of the first seat cushion section tessellates with a non-linear second border of the second seat cushion section.    
   
   
       24 . A method of manufacturing a multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 23 , further comprising the step of affixing an attaching medium the second border.  
   
   
       25 . A method of manufacturing a multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 23  further comprising the step of forming a handle into the first seat cushion section.  
   
   
       26 . A method of manufacturing a multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 25  further comprising the step of forming a handle into the second seat cushion section.  
   
   
       27 . A method of manufacturing a multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 23 , further comprising the step of forming a handle into each of the plurality of seat cushion sections.  
   
   
       28 . A method of manufacturing a multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 23 , further comprising the step of forming a storage compartment into the first seat cushion section.  
   
   
       29 . A method of manufacturing a multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 23 , further comprising a detailing step of decorating one of the plurality of seat cushion sections with a design or text.  
   
   
       30 . A method of manufacturing a multi-sectional novelty device seat cushion according to  claim 29 , wherein the detailing step includes a silk-screen process.
