Abstract
A removable flexible trim item is provided to fit the edge of commonly worn ball cap and visor brims. The flexible trim is designed to provide for a customizable fit for a variety of brim shapes and sizes and serves as a protective device which prevents fraying of the cap brim. The trim item may be decorated with color, logos, advertising and other indicia, as well.

A protective display element attachable to the periphery of a single standard ball cap style hat brim comprising: resiliently flexible material wherein said element having a u-shaped profile providing means for taking on the shape of sundry hat brim edges; said element providing means for curvilinear compression along the periphery of said hat brims; display surface of said element being gusseted and shaped topside providing means for continual uniform fit to said hat brim; said element being suitable for the application and displaying of indicia, text, colors and the like.
