Building block element

Abstract

A building block element has a pair of long sides, a pair of short sides and a thickness. The long sides and short sides have a length at least one or multiple times of the thickness. The long sides or short sides have at least one notch. The element also may have a slot in the center. The slot has a long side and a short side at a length at least one time of the thickness. Based on the long sides, short sides, and thickness of the building block element, and variations of the shape and location of the slot, different shapes of building blocks may be built.

1 . A building block element comprising a pairs of long sides and a pair of short sides and a thickness, the long side and the short side being at least one or multiple times of the thickness of the element, the element further having a through slot formed on a selected location, the slot having a long side and a short side that have a length at least one or multiple times of the thickness.  
   
   
       2 . The building block element of  claim 1 , wherein the slot is located in the center of the building block element.  
   
   
       3 . The building block element of  claim 2 , wherein the building block element has a plurality of consecutive slots formed in the center thereof.  
   
   
       4 . The building block element of  claim 1 , wherein one of the long sides of the building block element has at least one notch.  
   
   
       5 . The building block element of  claim 1;  wherein the two long sides of the building block element have at least one notch.  
   
   
       6 . The building block element of  claim 1 , wherein one of the short sides of the building block element has at least one notch.  
   
   
       7 . The building block element of  claim 1 , wherein the two short sides of the building block element have at least one notch.
