Abstract

Waterproof coat made from plastic foil whereby in accordance with the invention the coat is made from two layers through melting weldable foil having one or more inflatable compartments in between. Such a coat can be folded to a small and easy transportable size. During use a compartment can be filled with air so that the waterproof coat keeps the user dry and also protects the user from chilling.

1 . Waterproof coat having a top-, front- and backside made of plastic film characterised in that the coat is made from two layers of film having one or more inflatable compartments in between.  
   
   
       2 . Waterproof coat according to  claim 1  whereby an inflatable compartment is provided with a mouthpiece made from the film.  
   
   
       3 . Waterproof coat according to  claim 1  whereby said coat is without sleeves and closed at said front- and backside.  
   
   
       4 . Waterproof coat according to  claim 3  whereby said front- and backside are provided with an uninterrupted inflatable compartment and the a mouthpiece is positioned near said topside.  
   
   
       5 . Waterproof coat according to  claim 4  whereby in an said inflatable compartment the plastic films are locally connected by coupling seams ( 12 ).  
   
   
       6 . Waterproof coat in accordance with  claim 5  whereby at the back the coupling seams are horizontal and at a mutual distance of approximately 0.30 m.  
   
   
       7 . Waterproof coat in accordance with  claim 5  whereby the plastic films are locally connected with seams for shaping reinforced borders and/or a conduit for a string.
