Method and article for sorting of protective coverings

Abstract

A method and article for sorting a plurality of protective coverings such as boots of varying sizes, where the protective coverings have a visual distinction associated with each size, having the steps of providing a plurality of protective coverings of a plurality of sizes, selecting all of the protective coverings having a first visual distinction, and placing all of the boots of the first visual distinction into a first location.

1 . An article of protective clothing, said protective clothing having an identifying color that correlates to size wherein the color can be used to sort by size easily.  
     
     
         2 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein said protective clothing is a boot for covering and protecting feet.  
     
     
         3 . The article of  claim 2 , wherein said boot is made of a soft rubber material.  
     
     
         4 . A boot for use with a protective clothing suit that can be easily identified by size, said boot having a size identifying visual distinction, wherein other sizes of said boots have other visual distinctions.  
     
     
         5 . The boot of  claim 4 , wherein said size identifying visual distinction is varying colors.  
     
     
         6 . The boot of  claim 4 , wherein said size identifying visual distinction is varying patterns.  
     
     
         7 . A method of sorting a plurality of protective coverings of varying sizes, said protective coverings having a visual distinction associated with each size, the method having the following steps: 
 providing a plurality of protective coverings of a plurality of sizes;    selecting all of said protective coverings having a first said visual distinction; and    placing all of said boots of said first said visual distinction into a first location.    
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein said protective coverings are boots.  
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein said visual distinction is a visually distinct color.  
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein said visual distinction is a visually distinct pattern.  
     
     
         11 . A method of efficiently sorting a plurality of boots comprising the steps of: 
 identifying a plurality of sizes of said boots by a size related color;    assigning a storage location for each of said colors;    selecting a first of said colors;    removing all of said first of said colors from said plurality of boots;    placing all of said first of said colors into said storage location assigned to said first of said colors.
