The second panel includes a plurality of second threads comprising cotton. The pattern of the second threads of the second panel forming an opening therein that is 2-9 times greater than the opening formed in the pattern of the first threads of the front panel.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An undergarment for wear by a female comprising:
a front panel constructed and arranged to cover at least a portion of the abdomen of the wearer of the undergarment, the front panel comprising a plurality of first threads comprising a synthetic material, the first threads being formed in a repeating pattern to provide an opening between threads of each pattern; a second panel constructed and arranged to cover at least a portion of the crotch area of the wearer, the second panel comprising a plurality of second threads comprising cotton, the second threads being formed in a repeating pattern to provide an opening between threads of each pattern, the average area of the openings of the second panel being 2-9 times greater than the average area of the openings of the front panel, the second panel being attached to the front panel, the pattern of the second threads in the second panel being substantially consistent throughout the second panel.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 with the proviso that the pattern in the second panel is not interrupted to define an aperture through the second panel.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the undergarment does not cover a portion of the thigh of the wearer.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the undergarment includes a portion covering the thigh of the wearer.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 further comprising a portion covering the thigh of the wearer, a lower leg portion, and a foot portion.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 further comprising a back panel comprising a plurality of third threads comprising a synthetic material, and wherein the back panel is attached to the second panel, and further comprising a waistband secured to the front panel and back panel and defining a top opening in the undergarment.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 further comprising a back portion connected to the second panel, the back portion including a relatively narrow strap portion constructed and arranged to be received between the gluteus maximus muscles of the wearer, and further comprising a waistband, and wherein the back portion is connected to the waistband, and wherein the waistband is connected to the front panel.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the average area of the openings of the second panel is 3-8 times greater than the average area of the openings of the front panel.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 6 wherein the third panel threads are formed in a repeating pattern that is substantially the same as the pattern of the first threads of the front panel.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the opening in the second threads of the second panel is 3-6 times greater than the opening in the first threads of the front panel.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the pattern of the first threads in the front panel are sufficiently tight so that the front panel is silky smooth to the touch.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the pattern of the threads in the front panel is sufficiently tight so that overgarments easily slide over the front panel and do not cling to the same to any substantial degree.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the second panel-has an air permeability that is 2-9 times greater than the air permeability of the front panel.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the second panel has an air permeability that is 3-6 times greater than the air permeability of a front panel.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 6 wherein the pattern of the third threads of the back panel are sufficiently tight so that the back panel has a silky smooth surface to the touch.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 6 wherein the third threads of the back panel are sufficiently tight so that overgarments easily slide over the back panel and do not cling to the same to any substantial degree.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the second panel is secured to the front panel by stitching.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 17 wherein the stitching comprises cotton.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 6 wherein the back panel is secured to the second panel by stitching comprising cotton.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the first threads of the front panel comprise nylon.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 4 wherein the third threads of the back panel comprise nylon.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the synthetic material comprises at least one of a nylon, acrylic, and polyester material.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 wherein the front panel further comprises cotton.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 1 further comprising a third panel comprising a repeating pattern of third threads constructed and arranged substantially the same as the repeating pattern of the second threads of the second panel.
. A panty to be worn by a female comprising:
a front panel comprising a plurality of first threads constructed and arranged in a repeating pattern, and each pattern of the first panel defining an opening between the first threads, and a second panel secured to the front panel, the second panel comprising a plurality of second threads constructed and arranged in a repeating pattern, and each pattern of the second panel defining an opening between the second threads and wherein the average area of the openings between the second threads of the second panel ranges from 2-9 times greater than the average area of the openings between the first threads of the front panel; a back panel secured to the second panel, the back panel comprising a plurality of third threads constructed and arranged in a repeating pattern, each pattern defining an opening between the third threads, and wherein the opening between the second threads of the second panel is 2-9 times greater than the opening between the third threads of the back panel.
. A panty as set forth in claim 25 wherein the front panel, second panel, and back panel define first and second leg openings, and wherein the panty does not include a portion constructed and arranged to cover a portion of the thigh of the wearer.
. An undergarment as set forth in claim 25 further comprising a third panel comprising a repeating pattern of third threads constructed and arranged substantially the same as the repeating pattern of the second threads of the second panel.
