Abstract

A table includes a table top having one or more walls and one or more apertures formed in each of two sides, a foot support includes two beams attached to the sides of the table top and each having a flap engaged into the apertures of the table top The walls of the table top are disposed between the beams and the flaps, and a number of fasteners are engaged through the beams and the walls of the table top and the flaps of the beam, to solidly secure the beams to the table top. The engagement of the flaps of the beams into the table top may solidly anchor or secure the beams and thus the foot support to the table top.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A table comprising:
a table top including two sides each having at least one wall and at least one aperture formed therein, a foot support including two beams attached to said sides of said table top, and each of said beams including a flap extended therefrom and engaged into said at least one aperture of said table top, and said at least one wall of said table top being disposed between said beam and said flap respectively, and a plurality of fasteners engaged through said beams and said at least one wall of said table top and said flaps of said beam, to solidly secure said beams to said table top.

2 . The table as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said table top includes at least one casing provided in each of said sides thereof, and having said at least one wall and said at least one aperture formed and provided therein.

3 . The table as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said table top includes a peripheral wall, said at least one casing includes a height shoulder than that of said peripheral wall of said table top, to form a recess between said casing and said peripheral wall.

4 . The table as claimed in claim 3 , wherein each of said beams includes a flange extended therefrom and engaged into said recess formed between said casing and said peripheral wall, to stably anchor said beams to said table top.

5 . The table as claimed in claim 4 , wherein said flap is extended from said flange of said beam respectively.

6 . The table as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of said beams includes a rib extended therefrom and engaged with said table top, to stably anchor said beams to said table top.

7 . The table as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said foot support includes two rods coupled between said beams, and a leg device attached to each of said rods.

8 . The table as claimed in claim 7 , wherein each of said rods includes two ends of reduced diameter, to rotatably secure to said beams respectively.
