Abstract
A method of providing items required for a complex drug regimen. In a preferred embodiment the method includes the steps of disposing a plurality of different drugs in corresponding drug compartments within a container; and providing drug identification information visually associated with each drug compartment containing a drug. The invention also includes a kit for a complex drug regimen. In a preferred embodiment the kit includes a kit container including a plurality of drug compartments, each drug compartment adapted to contain a drug; a plurality of different drugs disposed in the drug compartments; and drug identification information visually associated with each drug compartment containing a drug.

disposing a plurality of different drugs in corresponding drug compartments within a container; and providing drug identification information visually associated with each drug compartment containing a drug.
2 . The method of claim 1 further comprising labeling the drug compartments with labels to identify drugs to be taken together.
3 . The method of claim 2 wherein at least two of the drugs are intended to be used together, the disposing step comprises associating the at least two drugs with the same label.
4 . The method of claim 1 further comprising altering a drug compartment size prior to completion of the disposing step.
5 . The method of claim 4 wherein the altering step comprises removing a wall portion of a compartment from the container.
6 . The method of claim 4 wherein the altering step comprises adding a wall portion of a compartment to the container.
7 . The method of claim 4 wherein the altering step comprises raising a bottom surface of a compartment.
8 . The method of claim 7 wherein the raising step comprises adding a false bottom to the compartment.
9 . The method of claim 1 wherein the disposing step further comprises disposing a drug delivery tool with a drug in a drug compartment.
10 . The method of claim 9 wherein the step of disposing a drug delivery tool comprises placing the drug delivery tool and the drug in an order of use within the drug compartment.
11 . The method of claim 1 further comprising arranging the drug compartments in a drug compartment arrangement following an intended order of use.
12 . The method of claim 11 wherein the step of providing drug identification information comprises providing drug identification information arranged in an arrangement substantially similar to the drug compartment arrangement.
13 . The method of claim 1 wherein the step of providing drug identification information comprises labeling the container.
14 . The method of claim 13 wherein the labeling step comprises labeling the instructions on a lid of the container.
15 . A kit for a complex drug regimen comprising:
a kit container comprising a plurality of drug compartments, each drug compartment adapted to contain one or more drugs; a plurality of different drugs disposed in the drug compartments; and drug identification information visually associated with each drug compartment containing a drug.
16 . The kit of claim 15 further comprising at least one label identifying drugs to be taken together.
17 . The method of claim 16 wherein at least two of the drugs are intended to be used together and are associated with the label.
18 . The kit of claim 15 further comprising at least one drug delivery tool disposed in a drug compartment along with a drug.
19 . The kit of claim 18 wherein the drug delivery tool and drug and disposed in an order of use within the drug compartment.
20 . The kit of claim 15 wherein the drug compartments are arranged in a drug compartment arrangement following an intended order of use.
21 . The kit of claim 20 wherein the drug identification information is arranged in an arrangement substantially similar to the drug compartment arrangement.
22 . The kit of claim 15 wherein the kit container comprises a lid, the instructions of use being disposed on the lid.
23 . The kit of claim 15 wherein the kit container has a first dimension of about 16.75 inches or less, a second dimension of about 16.75 inches or less and a third dimension of about 6.75 inches or less.
24 . The kit of claim 15 wherein the kit container has a first dimension of about 17.25 inches or less, a second dimension of about 12.25 inches or less and a third dimension of about 2.875 inches or less.
25 . The kit of claim 15 wherein the kit container further comprises a tab adapted to facilitate removal of the kit container from a mailing container.
26 . The kit of claim 15 wherein at least one drug compartment is adapted to be altered in size.
27 . The kit of claim 26 wherein the at least one drug compartment comprises a wall portion adapted to be removed from the kit container.
28 . The kit of claim 26 wherein the at least one drug compartment comprises a wall portion adapted to be inserted into the kit container.
29 . The kit of claim 26 wherein the at least one drug compartment comprises a false bottom to be inserted into the kit container.
30 . The kit of claim 15 further comprising a biohazard container disposed in the kit container.
31 . The kit of claim 30 wherein the kit container comprises a lid, the kit container being adapted to conceal most of the biohazard container from view when the lid is open.
