. A method according to claim 3 , wherein at least one of said cover part and said bottom part are made from a member selected from the group consisting of plastic, foam, and EPS.

. A method according to claim 4 , wherein at least one of said cover part and said bottom part are made from a member selected from the group consisting of plastic, foam, and EPS.

. A package for shipping plants or bulbs comprising:
a bottom part; a cover part; and, means for securing said bottom part and said cover part to one another; said bottom part and said cover part comprising well means for accepting a number of bulb or plants therein, said well means configured for allowing roots, stems or plants to grow therein, said well means further comprising growth means for allowing said roots, stems or plants to pass through said bottom part and said cover part.

. The package as recited in claim 14 wherein said bottom part is identical to said cover part.

. The package as recited in claim 14 wherein said growth means comprises an aperture.
