Abstract
The invention relates to the use of riboflavin and of flavin derivatives with chitinase-inhibitory action for controlling arthropods, nematodes and chitin-containing fungi.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . The use of flavin derivatives of the formula (I)
in which
R 1 is hydrogen, trifluoromethyl, alkyl or alkoxy,
R 2 is hydrogen, halogen, preferably chlorine, nitro, alkyl, alkoxy, dialkylamino, preferably dimethylamino, —CH 2 COOH or the radical NHCH 2 CH(OH)CH(OH)CH(OH)CH 2 OH,
R 3 is hydrogen, CH 2 CH 2 CH(OH)CH(OH)CH 2 OH, CH 2 CH(OH)CH(OH)CH(OH)CH 2 OH, phenyl, —CH 2 CHO, —CH 2 CH 2 OH, CH 2 CH(OH)CH(OH)CH(OH)CH(OH)CH 3 or CH 2 CH(OH)CH(OH)CH(OH)CH 2 OPO 3 ,
R 4 is hydrogen or alkyl
and of their stereoisomers and salts for controlling pests.
2 . The use of compounds of the formula (I) and of their stereoisomers and salts according to claim 1 , characterized in that
R 1 is methyl R 2 is methyl, dimethylamino, or NHCH 2 CH(OH)CH(OH)CH(OH)CH 2 OH R 3 is CH 2 CH 2 CH(OH)CH(OH)CH 2 OH or CH 2 CH(OH)CH(OH)CH(OH)CH 2 OH and R 4 is hydrogen.
3 . A pesticide comprising at least one compound of the formula (I) according to claim 1 .
4 . A pesticide comprising a combination of at least one compound of the formula (I) according to claim 1 with pesticides from the class of the pyrethroids, pyrazoles, neonicotinoids, avermectins, spinosyns or other classes of active compounds with an active adulticidal or non-development-inhibitory potential.
5 . A method for controlling pests, characterized in that at least one compound of the formula (I) according to claim 1 or a pesticide according to claim 3 or 4 is allowed to act on the pests and/or their environment.
6 . A process for the preparation of pesticides, characterized in that compounds of the formula (I) according to claim 1 are mixed with suitable auxiliaries.
7 . A method as claimed in claim 6 , wherein extenders and/or surface-active agents are employed as auxiliaries.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
