Abstract
The present application relates to nucleotide sequences which regulate the biosynthesis of the flagella proteins Helicobacter pylori , to the proteins encoded by these sequences and to aflagellate bacterial strains. The invention also relates to the use of these means for detecting an infection due to H. pylori or for protecting against such an infection.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 30 . (canceled)
31 . A purified polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence encoded by a nucleotide sequence, which is able to hybridize, under conditions of stringency, with a probe corresponding to a nucleotide fragment from H. pylori which has been amplified using a first oligonucleotide primer comprising SEQ ID NO:1 and a second oligonucleotide primer comprising SEQ ID NO:2.
32 . An immunogenic composition comprising the purified polypeptide according to claim 31 .
33 . A vaccinating composition comprising the purified polypeptide according to claim 31 and at least one urease-type antigen.
34 . The vaccinating composition according to claim 33 , wherein the composition comprises at least one antigen encoded by the ureA gene.
35 . The vaccinating composition according to claim 33 , wherein the composition comprises at least one antigen encoded by the ureB gene.
36 . The vaccinating composition according to claim 33 , wherein the composition comprises at least one antigen encoded by the ureC gene.
37 . The vaccinating composition according to claim 33 , wherein the composition comprises at least one antigen encoded by the ureD gene.
38 . A composition for the in vitro detection of an infection due to H. pylon in a sample of biological fluid from a patient, wherein the composition comprises the purified polypeptide according to claim 31.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
