Abstract
The invention relates to novel active compound combinations of certain cyclic ketoenols and certain active compounds that together have unexpectedly good insecticidal and acaricidal properties.

7 . A composition comprising a mixture of
(a) one or more compounds of formula (I) in which
X represents C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, halogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkoxy, or C 1 -C 3 -halogenoalkyl,
Y represents hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, halogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkoxy, or C 1 -C 3 -halogenoalkyl,
Z represents C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, halogen, or C 1 -C 6 -alkoxy,
n represents a number from 0 to 3,
A represents hydrogen; optionally halogen-substituted straight-chain or branched C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, C 3 -C 8 -alkenyl, C 3 -C 8 -alkinyl, C 1 -C 10 -alkoxy-C 2 -C 8 -alkyl, C 1 -C 8 -polyalkoxy-C 2 -C 8 -alkyl, C 1 -C 10 -alkylthio-C 2 -C 8 -alkyl, or cycloalkyl having 3-8 ring atoms that may be interrupted by oxygen and/or sulphur; or optionally halogen-, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl-, C 1 -C 6 -halogenoalkyl-, C 1 -C 6 -alkoxy-, C 1 -C 6 -halogenoalkoxy-, or nitro-substituted phenyl or phenyl-C 1 -C 6 -alkyl,

R 3 represents (i) optionally halogen-substituted C 1 -C 8 -alkyl or (ii) optionally C 1 -C 4 -alkyl-, halogen-, C 1 -C 4 -halogenoalkyl-, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-, C 1 -C 4 -halogenoalkoxy-, nitro-, or cyano-substituted phenyl or benzyl,
R 4 and R 5 independently of one another represent (i) optionally halogen-substituted C 1 -C 8 -alkyl, C 1 -C 8 -alkoxy, C 1 -C 8 -alkylamino, di(C 1 -C 8 )-alkylamino, C 1 -C 8 -alkylthio, C 2 -C 5 -alkenylthio, C 2 -C 5 -alkinylthio, or C 3 -C 7 -cycloalkylthio or (ii) optionally halogen-, nitro-, cyano-, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-, C 1 -C 4 -halogenoalkoxy-, C 1 -C 4 -alkylthio-, C 1 -C 4 -halogenoalkylthio-, C 1 -C 4 -alkyl-, or C 1 -C 4 -halogenoalkyl-substituted phenyl, phenoxy, or phenylthio, and
R 6 and R 7 independently of one another represent (i) optionally halogen-substituted C 1 -C 10 -alkyl, C 1 -C 10 -alkoxy, C 3 -C 8 -alkenyl, or C 1 -C 8 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 8 -alkyl, (ii) optionally halogen-, C 1 -C 6 -halogenoalkyl-, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl-, or C 1 -C 6 -alkoxy-substituted phenyl, or (iii) optionally halogen-, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl-, C 1 -C 6 -halogenoalkyl-, or C 1 -C 6 -alkoxy-substituted benzyl; or R 6 and R 7 together represent a 5- or 6-membered ring that is optionally interrupted by oxygen or sulphur and is optionally substituted by C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, and
(b) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of azinphos-methyl, chlorpyrifos, diazinon, dimethoate, disulfoton, ethion, fenitrothion, fenthion, isoxathion, malathion, methidathion, oxydemeton-methyl, parathione, parathione-methyl, phenthoate, phorate, phosalone, phosmet, phoxim, pirimiphos-methyl, profenophos, prothiophos, tebupirimphos, triazophos, chlorfenvinphos, dichlorphos, dicrotophos, mevinphos, monocrotophos, phosphamidon, acephate, methamidophos, trichlorfon, carbaryl, fenoxycarb, formetanate, formetanate hydrochloride, methiocarb, methomyl, oxamyl, pirimicarb, propoxur, and thiodicarb, with the proviso that component (b) cannot be chlorpyrifos or methamidophos when component (a) is a compound of formula (I-b-1)
8 . A composition according to claim 7 comprising
(a) a compound of formula (I-b-1) (b) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of azinphos-methyl, diazinon, dimethoate, disulfoton, ethion, fenitrothion, fenthion, isoxathion, malathion, methidathion, oxydemeton-methyl, parathione, parathione-methyl, phenthoate, phorate, phosalone, phosmet, phoxim, pirimiphos-methyl, profenophos, prothiophos, tebupirimphos, triazophos, chlorfenvinphos, dichlorphos, dicrotophos, mevinphos, monocrotophos, phosphamidon, acephate, trichlorfon, carbaryl, fenoxycarb, formetanate, formetanate hydrochloride, methiocarb, methomyl, oxamyl, pirimicarb, propoxur, and thiodicarb.
9 . A method for controlling animal pests comprising allowing an effective amount of a mixture according to claim 7 to act on an animal pest and/or a habitat of an animal pest.
10 . A method for controlling animal pests comprising allowing an effective amount of a mixture according to claim 8 to act on an animal pest and/or a habitat of an animal pest.
11 . A process for preparing an insecticidal and acaricidal composition comprising mixing a mixture according to claim 7 with one or more extenders and/or surfactants.
