Abstract

A paint ball hopper includes a neck shaped to be slidably inserted in the riser of a paint ball gun. The neck includes elastomeric members that can be adapted to be mount the neck in different sized risers. The elastomeric members can roll during inserted of the neck in a riser to prolong the life of the elastomeric members.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . In combination with a paint ball gun including
a housing, a hollow riser having an inner surface having a size selected from the class consisting of a first size and a second size larger than the first size, apparatus for receiving and shooting paint balls entering the riser, a paint ball hopper to deliver paint balls through the riser to the paint ball gun and including (a) a hollow storage container for paint balls, (b) a hollow neck having an outer surface, and (c) at least one elastomeric member mounted on said outer surface, said neck and elastomeric member being shaped and dimensioned to be inserted in the hollow riser and to engage frictionally slidably the inner surface when the inner surface has a size consisting of either of the first size and the second size.

2 . A paint ball hopper for use in combination with a paint ball gun including
a housing, a hollow riser having an inner surface having a size selected from the class consisting of a first size and a second size larger than the first size, apparatus for receiving and shooting paint balls entering the riser, a paint ball hopper to deliver paint balls through the riser to the paint ball gun and including (a) a hollow storage container for paint balls, (b) a hollow neck having an outer surface, (c) at least a pair of different sized elastomeric members each mountable on said outer surface, one of said elastomeric members being mounted on said outer surface, said neck and one of said elastomeric members being shaped and dimensioned to be inserted in the hollow riser and to engage frictionally slidably the inner surface when the inner surface has the first size, and said neck and the other of said elastomeric members being shaped and dimensioned to be inserted in the hollow riser and to engage frictionally slidably the inner surface when the inner surface has the second size. a size consisting of either of the first size and the second size.
