A method and apparatus are provided to provide a laser projection display (LPD).

1 . An apparatus for displaying information, comprising: 
 a first laser adapted to produce light of a first color;    a second laser adapted to produce light of a second color;    means for controllably scanning the laser light from the first and second lasers along a preselected two dimensional path; and    means for controllably energizing the first and second lasers as the laser light light is scanned along the preselected two dimensional path.
