Abstract

The CD storage box is integrally formed and has a plurality of mutually neighboring recesses in a recessed surface thereof, which recesses have their heights lowered from the first one gradually to the last one. Each recess has an annular chamber in corresponding by size to the diameter of a CD; the annular chambers each has a bottom surface with a predetermined radial width and an inner wall perpendicular to the bottom surface, and each is provided with a CD positioning means; each recess has a height different from those of its neighboring ones, part of their peripheries are mutually overlapped with a neighboring one as if the peripheries have notches. Thereby the present invention can be used to more firmly position more CD's under the condition of being given with a CD storage box having an identical volume to a conventional one.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A CD storage box which is integrally formed, said box is provided with a plurality of mutually neighboring recesses in a recessed surface thereof, which recesses have their heights lowered from a first one gradually to a last one of said recesses; each of said recesses has an annular chamber in corresponding by size to a diameter of a CD; said annular chambers each is composed of a bottom surface with a predetermined radial width and an inner wall perpendicular to said bottom surface, and each is provided with a CD position means; each of said recesses has a height different from those of its neighboring ones, part peripheries of said recesses are mutually overlapped with a neighboring one to form a notch area.

2 . The CD storage box as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said positioning means includes a slightly raised arciform portion at a junction of said bottom surface and said inner wall as well as a plurality of protruding strips provided slightly higher than said raised arciform portion.

3 . The CD storage box as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an outer side of the highest of said recess is provided on a periphery thereof further with notches.

4 . The CD storage device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said mutually neighboring recesses include at least an outermost first recess, a middle second recess and an innermost third recess.
