Abstract

A hanging card mechanism for a socket has two steps of the function of guarding against thief and includes a card body and a base. The card body includes a card having a bottom, a driving head expanding from the bottom of the card, and an inclined conical portion connected to the driving head. The base is circular and groove-shaped and includes a bottom, two snapping pieces disposed at the bottom and being symmetrical to each other, an inner bottom surface, and a groove disposed the inner bottom surface, such that the inclined conical portion of the driving head is inserted into and joined with the groove.

1 . A hanging card mechanism for a socket, the socket joined with the hanging card mechanism, the hanging card mechanism having two steps of the function of guarding against thief and comprising: 
 a card body including: 
 a card having a bottom;  
 a driving head expanding from the bottom of the card; and  
 an inclined conical portion connected to the driving head; and  
   a base being circular and groove-shaped and including: 
 a bottom;  
 two snapping pieces disposed at the bottom and being symmetrical to each other;  
 an inner bottom surface; and  
 a groove disposed the inner bottom surface, such that the inclined conical portion of the driving head is inserted into and joined with the groove.  
   
   
   
       2 . The hanging card mechanism for a socket according to  claim 1 , wherein the diving head includes two sides and at least one setting piece deposed at the sides; and the base includes at least one hole corresponding to the setting piece, such that the setting piece is snapped into and joined with the hole.  
   
   
       3 . The hanging card mechanism for a socket according to  claim 1 , wherein the socket includes a groove; and the base further includes at least one flange so as to be snapped into and joined with the groove of the socket.  
   
   
       4 . The hanging card mechanism for a socket according to  claim 1 , wherein the base further includes a block disposed beside the groove of the base; and the driving head further includes a bottom and a half arc groove disposed in the bottom of the driving head, such that the block and the half arc groove are interactive to drive the hanging card mechanism to be opened and closed.
