Convertible luggage

Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention provide a convertible luggage including a flexible collapsible compartmented interior structure able to fit when in a collapsed state into an interior of the luggage and to be transformed from the collapsed state into a temporarily sturdy expanded state when the luggage is open.

1 . A convertible luggage comprising a flexible collapsible compartmented interior structure able to fit when in a collapsed state into an interior of said luggage and to be transformed from said collapsed state into a temporarily sturdy expanded state when said luggage is open.  
   
   
       2 . The convertible luggage of  claim 1  wherein said interior structure comprises: 
 a compartmented flexible interior arrangement; and    a support mechanism able to support said interior arrangement when said interior structure is in said expanded position.    
   
   
       3 . The convertible luggage of  claim 2 , wherein said support mechanism comprises two generally stiff support arrangements located at two opposite sides of said interior arrangement, respectively.  
   
   
       4 . The convertible luggage of  claim 2  comprising a support connector able to connect said support mechanism to said interior arrangement.  
   
   
       5 . The convertible luggage of  claim 2 , wherein said support mechanism is able to be detached from said interior arrangement.  
   
   
       6 . The convertible luggage of  claim 5 , wherein said support mechanism is able to be rotated with respect to said interior arrangement.  
   
   
       7 . The convertible luggage of  claim 5 , wherein said support mechanism is able to be placed on a top surface of said interior arrangement when said interior structure is in said collapsed state.  
   
   
       8 . The convertible luggage of  claim 2 , wherein said support mechanism comprises a telescopic mechanism able to be in an expanded state and a closed state according to the state of said interior structure.  
   
   
       9 . The convertible luggage of  claim 7 , wherein said telescopic mechanism comprises a telescopic bar.  
   
   
       10 . The convertible luggage of  claim 7  comprising a locking mechanism able to lock and unlock said telescopic mechanism.  
   
   
       11 . The convertible luggage of  claim 2 , wherein said interior arrangement comprises one or more generally stiff horizontal separators and or more generally flexible vertical separators.  
   
   
       12 . The convertible luggage of  claim 1  comprising at least one handle for lifting said interior structure.  
   
   
       13 . The convertible luggage of  claim 1 , wherein said interior structure is able to be removed from said luggage.
